I might add it takes approximately 2 minutes of speaking on a cellular phone for the radiation to cross the protective Blood Brain Barrier. So whenever there is a landline available, use it in preference to your cell.

Vladimir Lagovski and Andrei Moiseynko from Komsomolskaya Pravda Newspaper in Moscow decided to learn first-hand how harmful cell phones are. There is no magic in cooking with your cell phone. The secret is in the radio waves that the cell phone radiates.

The journalists created a simple microwave structure as shown in the picture. They called from one cell phone to the other and left both phones on talking mode. They placed a tape recorder next to phones to imitate sounds of speaking so the phones would stay on.

After, 15 minutes: The egg became slightly warm.

25 minutes: The egg became very warm.

40 minutes: The egg became very hot.

65 minutes: The egg was cooked. (As you can see.)

Conclusion 1: Cooking eggs with mobile phones is possible but very expensive ($4.55 or 123 Rubles)

Conclusion 2: All this talk of danger is exaggerated; even if your brain gets cooked, it would take a couple hours of talking on a cell phone.

Conclusion 3: We do not recommend carrying cell phone in your pants.

  6. I actually tried this after reading the article… it doesnt work with two vodafone phones, talking for 2 hours (exactly the same as the test). havent tried it with two telecom phones, but if the article has any credit then the telecom phones might cook the egg. to my knowledge vodafone and telecom use different cellular technologies.

  7. Well,
do you beleive EVERYTHING you read on the internet ?

    I am an R.F.Engineer.
    R.F. stands for “radio frequncy”
    i build cell phone systems.

    this is total BS.
a normal microwave oven is about 1000 watts.
(watts mean the amount of POWER)
high frequncies like microwaves DO create heat,
but a cell phone is limited to .6 of a watt
    (as per FCC rules)
and, actually, they use much less,
    depending on other variables.

The heat people usually feel from a cell phone comes from the battery heating up,
    NOT the radio waves !!!

In the photo shown, the 2 phones may be in conversation with each other, but there is actually NO signal going directly between them.
the signal first goes to a cell site.
Then back to the other phone.

if there is any cooking going on, it comes from the heat of the battery,
or , from the imagination of the user
    (much more likely)

  8. Cellphone’s DO NOT cook our brains. I don’t care what you say. I was on my cellphone for more then 6 hours at one time and yet my brain is still working.

  9. Use are all still missing the main point here. Those radio Frequencies / Phone signals are travelling through the air. Even if we only speak on a mobile phone for a minimum of 30 seconds a day we are still exposing our selves to mobile phone radiation. This happens by those frequencies causing the electrons in the brain to come unstable therfor doing damage to the cells. Now this happening on a rare bases, the cells can rapiar them selves with out mutation. However if you are someone who speaks on the mobile phone for “1 hour plus” (ie, Todays Youth Generation) every day over the course of about 5 – 10 years those cells are slowly mutating which can trigger other events in the brain to take place.
