So alarming to read the title of your post. I really thought flu vaccine is good for children but now, I’m confused. Maybe it’s just coincidence. Maybe it’s not actually the vaccine, it’s actually how great is the resistance of the body of your child. Who knows?

Given the study that was carried out I think this was more than mere coincidence.

It is fair better to dose your children up on extra vitamin C and ensure they get good quality food rather than pumping them with poisons.

However in saying that it’s every parents right to make that choice.

Don’t panic Nicole. Try and find the source of the ScienceDaily article. Sometimes journalists interpret the results of the research incorrectly. They are journalists after all, not scientists. Always go back to the source. It is also important to evaluate a particular piece of research along side other research. If a study appears completely at odds with most other research on the subject, then it is best to be sceptical and see if the study is independently reproducible.

Lorraine has also selectively cut bits from the ScienceDaily article to suit her agenda. You will notice that she conveniently left out the following: “The concerns that vaccination maybe associated with asthma exacerbations have been disproved with multiple studies in the past”
The phrase “More studies are needed ” is also a red flag.

All my family from grandparents to grandchildren have been having annual flu vaccinations since they became available. Some of them have asthma. None have had any adverse reaction or needed hospitalisation. I know this is just anecdotal evidence but that sort of thing seems OK on this blog

(NaturalNews) Dr. Paul Offit of the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) received at least $29 million from his share of royalties for Merck’s Rotateq vaccine after using his position with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention to ensure that childhood vaccination with the vaccine became compulsory.

According to a report on the Web site “Age of Autism,” a review of CHOP’s royalties schedules reveals that Offit likely received between $29 million and $55 million for his work developing the Rotateq vaccine for rotavirus, which causes diarrhea in infants. Because the vaccine is jointly owned by CHOP and by the Wistar Institute but Offit is the only inventor listed on the patent from CHOP, he received 100 percent of inventor’s rights payments from CHOP.

“Clearly, based on the distribution of income rights outlined in [CHOP's policies], Paul Offit had a greater personal interest in Rotateq’s commercial success than any other single individual in the world,” article authors Dan Olmsted and Mark Blaxill write. “And more than other individual in the world, he found himself in a position to directly influence that success.”

Between 1998 and 2003, Offit sat on the U.S. government’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). His involvement with development of Rotateq began before and ended after these dates.

While a member of the ACIP, Offit consistently voted in favor of making vaccination against rotavirus part of the compulsory U.S. childhood immunization schedule. He also voted to rescind recommendation of Wyeth’s competing vaccine RotaShield, while aggressively advocating for the idea that other rotavirus vaccines would be less dangerous.

“Unlike most other patented products, the market for mandated childhood vaccines is created not by consumer demand, but by the recommendation of an appointed body called the ACIP,” Olmsted and Blaxill write. “In a single vote, ACIP can create a commercial market for a new vaccine that is worth hundreds of millions of dollars in a matter of months.”

In the case of Rotateq, its addition to the vaccine schedule led to an increase in yearly revenue of $655 million over the course of two years.

They found no such thing. Read the original research. They actually found that the unvaccinated were many times more likely to be hospitalised than the vaccinated.

A shocking revelation was made by GSK a few years ago and I feel that anyone who takes the time to read this blog should be made aware of this.

A senior executive of Glaxo admitted “Our Drugs Do Not Work on Most Patients”

Allen Roses, then worldwide vice-president of genetics at GlaxoSmithKline (GSK), said fewer than half of the patients prescribed some of the most expensive drugs actually derived any benefit from them.

It is an open secret within the drugs industry that most of its products are ineffective in most patients but this is the first time that such a senior drugs boss has gone public. GSK also announced it had 20 or more new drugs under development that could each earn the company up to $1bn

The bombshell came when Dr Roses, an academic geneticist from Duke University in North Carolina, spoke at a recent scientific meeting in London where he cited figures on how well different classes of drugs work in real patients.

Drugs for Alzheimer’s disease work in fewer than one in three patients, whereas those for cancer are only effective in a quarter of patients. Drugs for migraines, for osteoporosis, and arthritis work in about half the patients. “Most drugs work in fewer than one in two patients mainly because the recipients carry genes that interfere in some way with the medicine”, he said.

“The vast majority of drugs – more than 90 per cent – only work in 30 or 50 per cent of the people,” Dr Roses said. “I wouldn’t say that most drugs don’t work. I would say that most drugs work in 30 to 50 per cent of people.”

[By his own willful ignorance he is exposing the rest of his family to very serious risk as they each submit themselves to the pharmaceutical companies to be guinea pigs].

In the late sixties / early seventies, a schoolteacher (in New England) was threatened with the loss of her job if she did not submit to a flu shot.

The school administrator (just as arrogant as the vaccine-happy troll) told the schoolteacher that “if she did not submit to the vaccine, she would be waiting on tables in a restaurant.” She had two children to care for and, because she needed her job to provide for her children, she decided to take her chances with the flu shot.

On the day the shots were to be given, the school administrator [very similar to the troll] decided to show off and display his confidence in the vaccine in the presence of the other teachers: especially the one he threatened with the loss of her job.

Deciding to belittle her once more, he stated “I’ll show you how irrational your fears of these shots are” [paraphrased], and he stepped in front of her in line, rolled up his sleeve, and was given the shot the teacher would have received. [The troll should pay close attention to what happened next]

As a result of being vaccinated with the flu shot the teacher was next in line to receive, the school administrator became paralized with Guillain-Barre syndrome and died within a year.

All of the troll’s idol boasting (and arrogance) on this site could very well end up in tragedy in his own family. Perhaps not him, but somebody in his family suffering because of his haughtiness and stubborness. I do not wish this upon him (and certainly not his family) but he opens himself up to a tragedy like this because of the way he treats others, and his scorn of the truth. He has been exposed to a lot of truth on this site, for over a year, and has nothing but contempt for readers at Uncensored and the site itself.

The school administrator’s arrogance caught up with him, and he and his family paid a price. It should be a warning to those who hear the truth and decide to mock the messenger. The troll is a mocker, and he is opening his family up to possible great hardship due to his scorn of “uneducated anti-vaccinationists”.

The administrator felt so superior to the “poor ignorant teacher” and look where he is today. His family devastated needlessly.

If the schoolteacher had received the shot she should have as the next in line [that she was threatened into taking], her two children would not have a mother today.

Avoid Flu Shots, Take Vitamin D Instead

“Three serious, acknowledged adverse reactions to the flu vaccine are joint inflammation and arthritis, anaphylactic shock (and other life-threatening allergic reactions), and Guillain-Barré syndrome. Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS) is a paralytic autoimmune disease that fells people several weeks after their flu shot. One woman with post-vaccination GBS writes:

“I had a flu shot in November, and by December I became weak and continued to get weaker until I collapsed and was taken to the hospital… I was helpless, totally paralyzed with Guillain-Barré syndrome… I was in ICU for three weeks and then transferred to a rehabilitation center. Another woman, diagnosed with GBS after a flu shot, spent 16 months in the hospital paralyzed on a ventilator and life support. After several subsequent multi-month hospitalizations she writes:
“On my last visit to my neurologist I was able to walk about 6 feet holding his hand, not much but it took years to be able to do that. I scratch my head when I hear them promoting flu shots… Most people that I come into contact with – in the hospital and out (nurses, doctors, and regular people) – after hearing my story, feel that it is better to chance the flu and not get the shot.”

The package inserts that come with the flu vaccine note that GBS is a potential complication. There are 1 to 2 cases of GBS per 1 million vaccinated persons. (There were 10 times that many cases of GBS in 1976 with the flu vaccine used that year). Taking a flu shot is essentially the same as buying a lottery ticket for acquiring Guillain-Barré syndrome.

Seventy percent of doctors do not get a flu shot.

The good Dr. Donald Miller, cardiac surgeon and Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington in Seattle, recently did an article about the dangers of mercury in vaccines and amalgam fillings. The CDC has a position on Thimerosal (methyl mercury based preservative) in flu vaccines posted to its website. Without admitting that Thimerosal might be responsible for the epidemics of autism, alzheimers, and ADD in this country, the CDC gives us a sop about taking it out or removing it. Reading the fine print, however, tells us: “the majority of influenza vaccines distributed in the United States currently contain Thimerosal as a preservative.” Furthermore, in a bit of regulatory trickery, the FDA is letting smaller amounts go undisclosed : “..some contain only trace amounts of Thimerosal and are considered by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to be preservative-free.” In other words, even if you ask to see the vaccine label, check for Thimerosal, and get a warm fuzzy feeling about the shot being labeled “Thimerosal free,” thanks to the FDA’s accommodation of drug manufacturers, it could still contain mercury.”

It replaces the confidence one has in oneself with a blind confidence in others, outside ourselves. It leads to loss of personal dignity, in addition to making us financially dependent. It draws us into the vicious circle of sickness (fear – poverty – submission) and, in this way, ensures the submission of the herd so as to better dominate and exploit it. And then lead them to the abattoir. To slaughter.

Vaccination also encourages the moral and financial dependence of Third World countries. It perpetuates the social and economic control of Western countries over them.

5. Vaccination camouflages the real socio-political problems of poverty of some due to exploitation by others, and results in techno-scientific pseudo-solutions that are so complicated and sophisticated that patients cannot understand them. In addition, vaccination diverts funds which should be used to help improve living conditions, and channels them into the banks of the multinationals. It widens the gap between the dominant rich and the exploited poor.

6. Vaccination decimates populations. Drastically in Third World countries. Chronically in industrialized countries. In this regard, the former President of the World Bank, former Secretary of State in the United States, who ordered massive bombing of Vietnam, and member of the Expanded Program on Immunization, Robert McNamara, made some very interesting remarks. As reported by a French publication, “j’ai tout compris”, he was quoted as stating:

“One must take draconian measures of demographic reduction against the will of the populations. Reducing the birth rate has proved to be impossible or insufficient. One must therefore increase the mortality rate. How? By natural means. Famine and sickness.” (Translation)

Encouraging people to avoid vaccination should be a crime. Hopefully the anti vaccination freaks will die off in the coming pandemics before they get a chance to pass on their gullibility genes to the next generation.

There are three main types of flu virus, and each type can mutate, or change, from year to year. Thus, there are literally thousands of possible strains. (Each strain is thoroughly analyzed and given a proper name, often a title associated with the place where it was initially discovered.) Every year health officials produce a new flu vaccine containing three mutated strains of flu virus. To determine which strains to use, officials travel to China at the beginning of the year to assess circulating flu viruses in that region of the world. They try to guess which strains will reach the United States by the end of the year. Production begins, and the new vaccine is usually available by October.

Flu “experts” often guess wrong. For example, in 1994 they predicted that Shangdong, Texas, and Panama strains would be prevalent that year, thus millions of people were vaccinated with a flu shot that contained these viruses. However, when winter arrived, the Johannesburg and Beijing strains of influenza circulated through society. The vaccine was ineffective.

This happened again in 1996, and again in 1997.

More recently, the vaccine created for the 2003-2004 flu season contained flu strains that did not circulate through society that year.

Officials were once again forced to admit that millions of people were vaccinated with an ineffective vaccine.

Yet, flu fatalities did not increase during these years. For example, in 1996, 857 people died from the flu; in 1997, 745 people died from the flu — typical annual numbers.

In 2004, flu vaccine manufacturers were unable to produce enough flu shots to accommodate everyone who wanted a flu vaccine. (Several batches were contaminated and had to be destroyed.) Thus, only half of the population that is normally vaccinated against influenza (approximately 45 million people versus 90 million during an average year) received the vaccine.

If influenza is truly a deadly disease, as officials claim, the 2004-2005 flu season should be catastrophic. If, as the CDC claims, 36,000 people die every year from the flu when 90 million people are vaccinated against the disease, how many more will die when only 45 million people are “protected?” I predict that flu fatalities will not increase. In fact, flu (and pneumonia?) fatalities may even decrease during this rare period when the American population is “under-vaccinated” against influenza.
