Saturday, December the 5th, 2009 saw close to 2000 people march on parliament in Wellington, New Zealand to support the Prime Minister, John Key flying to Copenhagen to sign our country over to the New World Order and a fascist global dictatorship, even though the revelations of Climategate have proven that “man-made global warming” is an audacious fraud

A small number of people showed up in support of democracy and freedom and to stand against the fascist environmentalists. Armed with anti-New World Order /Man Made Global Warming signs, we stood among the pro-fascist crowd in Civic Square and marched with them down to parliament.

It was not long ago I would have wanted to be with those marchers, but I was ignorant of the 185 pages of the NWO agenda and so are they, whats needed is more organization of those supporting freedom to somehow educate in a non threatening way and show those who care as much about the planet as we do, the lies, misrepresentations and how we are being lied to, Climate gate – they made up the data!, they could NOT prove MAN is responsible for a significant contribution to global warming – those marching believe we are! whether or not we are in a heating or cooling period is a separate matter entirely!

Ice in the Arctic circle is mostly already floating on the water, so whether or not it’s frozen makes no difference to sea levels.

The evidence seems clear the earth (occurring on other planets in our solar system as well I understand) are also goes through heating and cooling cycles and it is interesting that the increase in CO2 is a product of the warming not CAUSING the warming (or so I understood from materials) this makes it even worse them wanting to charge a tax for something that we have little, contribution to.. Washington, D.C., June 26, 2009—The Competitive Enterprise Institute is today making public an internal study on climate science which was suppressed by the Environmental Protection Agency. Internal EPA email messages, released by CEI earlier in the week, indicate that the report was kept under wraps and its author silenced because of pressure to support the Administration’s agenda of regulating carbon dioxide.

The report finds that EPA, by adopting the United Nations’ 2007 “Fourth Assessment” report, is relying on outdated research and is ignoring major new developments. Those developments include a continued decline in global temperatures, a new consensus that future hurricanes will not be more frequent or intense, and new findings that water vapor will moderate, rather than exacerbate, temperature.

New data also indicate that ocean cycles are probably the most important single factor in explaining temperature fluctuations, though solar cycles may play a role as well, and that reliable satellite data undercut the likelihood of endangerment from greenhouse gases. All of this demonstrates EPA should independently analyze the science, rather than just adopt the conclusions of outside organizations.

The released report is a draft version, prepared under EPA’s unusually short internal review schedule, and thus may contain inaccuracies which were corrected in the final report.

“While we hoped that EPA would release the final report, we’re tired of waiting for this agency to become transparent, even though its Administrator has been talking transparency since she took office. So we are releasing a draft version of the report ourselves, today,” said CEI General Counsel Sam Kazman.

It is possible to be an environmentalist whilst questioning the validity of certain science reports.

The jury is way out on climate science at the moment with the climate gate scandal and Gore admitting Co2 is only 40% of the problem. There is evidence to suggest that Co2 isn’t the problem at all.

Let’s tackle the big issue – pollution. The real problem for NZ is the dairy/meat industry which is a major pollutant. Far more obvious than Co2.

We do not deny that climate change is happening – but there is evidence to suggest it is natural. Just like Ice ages.

The one coherent point from Brian’s otherwise incoherent ramblings here is that Uncensored has indeed ‘sold out’ ideologically in relation to the global warming debate. The editors of this site, and most of the posters, believe global warming is a hoax not because of any great scientific reasoning but because of conspiracy paranoia –lifted wholesale from the American far-right – that global warming is part of the Illuminati New World Order plot for totalitarian world government. In this view global warming is bad, not because of its devastating effects on global ecosystems, but because nations around the world are getting together to try and work out internationally binding treaties to ameliorate the problem. In other words – international agreements on environmental issues (which don’t adhere to anthropocentric frameworks of national borders or political ideology) threaten the ‘autonomy’ of nations such as the United States and the individual liberties of its citizens. Ergo – must be an evil conspiracy against ‘freedom’. Never mind that the ‘individual liberties’ we enjoy in our daily lives are presaged upon consumer industries that make excessive use of non-renewable resources such as fossil fuels. Scientific reality – global warming – is demonised in favour of the ideological realities of the ‘consumer culture’ that hyper-capitalism has made synonymous with the ideas of individual liberty.

As a riposte to global warming you state that ‘global cooling’ is occurring – as if the prospect of another ice age is somehow less of a threat to human civilization than a rise in temperatures. Let’s just say that you’re right. What if global cooling is proven, and in another 20 years the UN and governments countries from around the globe get together to enact treaties to try and stave off global cooling as a threat to human civilization? Presumably you would then elevate global cooling from the realms of the ‘scientific fact’ that you present it as now to those of conspiracist ideology. Governments engaged in international agreements to stave off global cooling – another example of the evil Illuminati/NWO plot for totalitarian world domination. In other words, there’s fuck all scientific logic behind the anti-global warming debates presented on sites like this. Instead, there’s the ideological boogeyman of ‘big government’ which fulfills the role of ’satan’ in the fundamendalist worldview of American nationalism ascribed to by Alex Jones and the bulk of the other conspiracy-mongers on the Web.

As for your statements equating the sort of conspiracy theorising presented on this website as some kind of radical act towards ‘the end of Global Economic Slavery’: Where does the bulk of the ‘global warming as New World Order hoax’ material that is propagated by this website come from? From the PR apparatus of American corporate think-tanks that are heavily implicated with the likes of fossil fuel industries whose political influence and economic power is threatened by the scientific realities that global warming represents. Some examples: the ‘Competitive Enterprise Institute’ listed by You Am I in the comments above – “a great organization” that argues for unbridled corporate power as a challenge to the evils of ‘big government’. How much better we will all feel when our sense of individual freedom is inextricably linked to the profit margins of Monsanto and ExxonMobil. Or the lectures of Lord Christopher Monckton, ex-member of pro-corporate think-tanks under the Thatcher government. Who paid him to come and deliver his ‘global warming equals communist takeover of the United States’ conspiracy spiel in Minnesota recently, as lovingly represented on Alex Jones and other ‘anti NOW elites’ conspiracy websites? Why, the incredibly un-elitist and un-corporate-affiliated sounding ‘Minnesota Free Market Institute’ (interesting how Jones and the like present themselves as populists presenting the interests of the ‘ordinary man’ against elites, but are willing to overlook the elite background of someone like Monckton as long as they’re saying something they can use to bolster their own conspiracist beliefs). If global warming is true, then the capitalist system that underpins the power of these ‘elites’, as conspiracy theorists like to call them, can be considered a failure. The environmental destruction of capitalism that global warming signifies makes a mockery of the utopian capitalist ethics of unlimited growth as the only means of human progress. Global warming also directly fingers specific industries –such as oil, petrol companies, auto manufacturers, the companies that manufacture plastic widgets for the Warehouse – as the central drivers of environmental catastrophe. The implication here is that such industries need to be regulated, phased out, and/or replaced by les environmentally destructive alternatives – all of which are anathema to the business interests involved. By playing his little game here, of twisting the views of those of us that expose the internationalists, he fulfills his role of timewaster and agitator for the fun of it.

New readers need to know what many of us have already learned about Alex Search; and that is: that what he does here (at the very least) is simply a form of entertainment for him. Much like Gary Pharmapuppet, aka “troll”, who either wore out his welcome here, or is busy being the center of attention at infowars.

Alex Search is best ignored. But if you can’t resist whacking the robot occasionally; understand that he usually sets up a straw man argument, and then proceeds to beat the poor straw man (of his own design) over the head repeatedly. The thrill this gives him is plain to readers who have seen this tool in action for a while.

When he gets whacked real good, however, he retreats back to his lair hoping readers will soon forget so he can return with more of his straw man attacks, obsession with Jewish people, race-baiting, and broad-brushing those he desires to ridicule for sport.

Again, trying to reason with an establishment robot like Alex Search is a complete waste of time.

negative health effects associated with climate change will be most experienced by those with mental illnesses. Drs. Lisa Page and Louise Howard from the Institute of Psychiatry (IoP) published an article in Psychological Medicine that examined research on the subject and came to their own conclusion that not only will climate change negatively affect the mentally ill but it will also cause more mental illness.

Study authors claim that climate change will lead to increased natural disasters like major storms, droughts, and hurricanes. As a result, people will become more depressed and experience various disorders and mental problems if they don’t have them already.

Since resources are expected to be limited following major catastrophic events, the authors also fear that the mentally ill will not receive the treatments they need because efforts will be diverted towards the many whom will be experiencing trauma due to the catastrophe. Other concerns include that the mentally ill will not cope well with higher temperatures because they are more prone to heat-related death.

For those that are not mentally ill, it is feared that various mental illnesses could develop due to infectious disease outbreaks, mass migration because of flooding, increased urbanization, and even just thinking about the concept of man-made climate change possibly wreaking havoc.

Study authors fear that international leaders will fail to address these issues at the upcoming United Nations conference in Copenhagen, Denmark, where climate change issues are expected to be discussed and solutions presented.
