DID YOU KNOW:
– the previous Minister of Health (Annette King) signed a ‘Treaty’ agreement on December 10, 2003 with the Australian Govt to establish a joint regulatory ‘subterfuge’ to give governance of all aspects of your health to an offshore corporation.
– the Minister has included in the ‘Treaty’ all natural health products, natural health remedies and traditional Maori (Rongoa) remedies
– the signing was done in the full knowledge of the unanimous findings of a Govt Health Select Committee of 15 people (and 15 months of research)”that natural health be EXCLUDED from the ‘Treaty’
(this committee included Labour Party Committee members)
– since December 10, 2003 (without a mandate) the NZ Ministry of Health (Medsafe) has recklessly squandered millions on this Australian adventure and continues to do so on a project that has not been approved by Parliament or NZ taxpayers
– the Therapeutic Products Authority ‘Treaty’ will be introduced to the Australian Parliament in July 2006 and it has been officially stated that this legislation will be introduced to the NZ Parliament at the same time
– this is an abuse of the parliamentary democratic system and the activities of the Minister and the Department of Health demonstrates their contempt for the unanimous resolution entered into by all

All New Zealanders need to be informed as to what is really going on and need to wake up to and stop this abomination.
Your Government is giving away all control of your health to an offshore Corporation, with token government input and Maximum Control by Profit Hungry Multinational Pharmaceutical Manufacturers.

Re: Stakeholder Consultation Meetings
Majority of New Zealanders have not been informed that on the 10th of December 2003, the New Zealand Minister of Health Annette King signed a’Treaty’ Agreement with the Australian Government to establish a joint regulatory subterfuge to give all governance of every aspect of New Zealanders health to an off shore corporation. This was undertaken with full knowledge that the Heath Select Committee of Parliament voted unanimously (including the Labour Party Committee Members) to exclude all natural health products from any ‘Treaty’ Agreement.
The Minister has without an appropriate mandate from the New Zealand Parliament included in the ‘Treaty’ all natural health products, all traditional health remedies, and all traditional Maori (Rongoa) remedies.
Since 10 December 2003 without a mandate the New Zealand Ministry of Health (Medsafe) has squandered millions of dollars on this Australian adventure, even though the Select Committee whose unanimous report has been accepted by Parliament, has stated that natural health be excluded from the ‘Treaty’ the Ministry of Health (Medsafe) has continued to recklessly spend millions of tax payers dollars on a project that has not been approved by Parliament or New Zealand taxpayers.
The Therapeutic Products Authority ‘Treaty’ will be introduced to the Australian Parliament in July of this year 2006 and it has been officially stated that this legislation will be introduced to the New Zealand Parliament at the same time.

Stakeholders have been asked to complete and submit a form (available on the Medsafe website) www.anztpa.org/media/060327jaeg.htm to register their interest in attending one of the Stakeholder information sessions no
later than 21st April 2006.
What is a Stakeholder?
A Stakeholder is any person who consumes or may in the future consume any form of pharmaceutical drug/s and/or natural healthcare remedy including traditional Maori (Rongoa) remedies.
SHOULD STAKEHOLDERS ATTEND THESE MEETINGS?
YES!
Even if you do not currently use natural health products you owe it to yourselves and to future generations of New Zealanders to preserve the availability of products at self-corrective strength dosages.
