A political author says the so-called United States ‘fiscal cliff’
gives an excuse for the government to implement genocidal austerity against the working class.
The fiscal cliff refers to a variety of tax increases and spending cuts that are set to kick in from January 1
unless the Republicans and the Democrats can come together with an alternative budget plan.
