Matrix: who is Edward Snowden?

20

This article is a compilation of a number of pieces I’ve written about Ed Snowden and the NSA. It doesn’t replace them, but it hits the high points…

Let’s begin here: If you absolutely must have a hero, watch Superman movies.

If your need for a hero is so great, so cloying, so heavy, so juicy that it swamps your curiosity, don’t read this.

If you can’t separate Snowden’s minor revelations from the question of who he is, if you can’t entertain the notion that covert ops and intelligence-agency games are reeking with cover stories, false trails, and limited hangouts, you need more fun in your life.

NSA? CIA? These guys live for high-level bullshit. They get down on their knees and worship it. They fall into a suicidal funk if they aren’t lying on at least three or four levels at once.

Okay. Let’s look at Snowden’s brief history as reported by The Guardian. Are there any holes?

Is the Pope Catholic?

    1. Rob, this video you put up is an intentional smear campaign meant to discredit Snowden. You seem to want to discredit him as well. I agree that we have known about this surveillance a long time but what Snowden and Assange have done by their very risk taking whistleblowing is to bring it all much more out in the open so that most (worldwide) now are aware of it. ISN’T THAT A HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENT ? Who is to say what these very public revelations will bring about in the future? No wonder so many want to discredit the messenger and say that they have made no huge difference. No wonder many do not believe him and want to shut him up and even want to kill him. Just the fact that he has exposed the C>.I..>A and that they have affirmed that they want him dead is extremely important. The change you ask about is happening because of the awareness that his whistleblowing has brought about. He put his life on the line and you discredit him? Do you think he likes to be held as a prisoner and constantly be lied about and called a traitor when it may very well be shown in the future that he and Assange and other brave and ethical whistleblowers are truly
honest and real and not what you and others think they are? I knew there would be a huge backlash against Snowden, and more lies about he and Assange, I just did not expect it from you. Let us not
kill the messenger, let us look at how we can regain our civil liberties and stop our privacy and confidentiality being trashed. That is the change we need and I thank those who had the guts to stand up for what is right and fair and just knowing full well they would be lied about and trashed and discredited.

  1. I don’t want to kill or shut anyone up. I’m all for anyone saying whatever they want. Maybe this Snowden is the real deal. I don’t think so though. He hasn’t made any huge difference to my knowledge about what goes on. We know phones, computers can be tracked, tapped, recorded etc. We have been know for years whatever we do on the net is there forever. We know nearly every country in the world have intelligence and spy networks. I have read your post before where you have talked about a NWO, the illuminate etc. What did you think they where doing.
What has Snowden told you that you dind’t already know or think?
    What is this huge difference?
What do you think will change, if anything because of what he has said?

  2. “Biggest tell all is that the guy is still alive.” What do you mean by that statement, Rob? How many whistleblowers do you know, like Snowden and Assange, who have made and are making such a huge difference in our knowledge of how and why our privacy rights are trashed and exposing the criminal and lying c..i./a? Risking their lives – these are the true heros,
not those who trash them or want to kill them to shut them up. Quick on the trigger, aren’t we Rob?

Thanks to admin. for putting up the interview though not sure why you put up the fairytale video right next to it which, to me, was not worth my time watching.

  3. Blake, come on man. Look how much t.v time this guy gets. I think its well known who owns and what agenda the MSM has. Biggest tell tale is this guy is still alive.
What has Snowden told you or the world what we didn’t already know?

  4. Admin. – can you please highlight this extremely important interview with Snowden ? Mainstream media etc. does not want anyone to hear this latest interview that is so incredibly revealing and with some new info about security etc. Have you taken the time to listen to this 30 min. interview ? Why you do not have this highlighted on your opening page is a mystery to me. Please re-consider.

  5. Admin. – I am real curious why you are not highlighting this current interview that reveals some very important information about our internet security and about Edward Snowden ; the US etc. ? I feel this should be on your opening page right away. Have you listened to it yet? Is Russel Brand that significant?

  6. Hello Gerard,
Thanks for the clip. Good one. Reinforces what’s been shown here. Snowden is all part of the game.

    1. Snowden is not part of any game other than revealing the truth. This Fairytale video is just that, a part of the propaganda fairytale meant to scare, confuse and mislead and you need to look deeper. Look into why the media/CIA does not want anyone to hear the latest interview with Snowden. Stop believing every youtube production as gospel and really listen to what Snowden and Assange are really saying about the
BS and media hipe and untrue propaganda. Martin, I disagree with you wholeheartedly on this one.
Check out Abby Martin on “Breaking the Set” on RT.COM for real and true journalism you will not hear elsewhere.

  7. I say Snowden is definitely an active agent. Always thought the story was typical intelligence agency BS.
Follow Snowden and you’re following the Pied Piper to the edge of the cliff.

    1. Martin, I couldn’t disagree with you more on this one. Would like to hear what you feel and have to say after you carefully watch the latest interview link of Snowden that I just put up.

  8. This from the article
“Can’t find him in Hong Kong, where he does a sit-down video interview with Glenn Greenwald of The Guardian. Can’t find that “safe house” or that “hotel” where he’s staying’

reminds me of the US looking for osama and not being able to find him. Yet he gets interviewed by CNN?

What did Snowden change with his reverlations. Nothing apart from getting the public to accept they are being spyed on.
