In the event of a major quake:
Look after your neighbours and friends. Share your resources. Keep your head screwed on and don’t panic. Have handy a torch (not candles, an aftershock may knock them over and then you’ve got a fire as well!) and battery powered radio (don’t rely on a cellphone the system will be overloaded).
Make sure your car’s tank is full, as there will be fights and big queues at the local gas station, and keep some in a suitable container. Store LOTS of clean drinking water!
