2001:Dark Side Of The Echoes

Hard to believe the landmark movie 2001: A Space Odyssey is now half a century old. And the combination of Kubrick and Clarke, both Illuminati, means that it’s visuals and plot are still being debated, dissected and decoded five decades on.

It was during such research that I came across extraordinary remastering of the classic film, given a new lease of life with a Pink Floyd soundtrack, including Dark Side Of The Moon and Echoes, and it’s my opinion that this fits the movie better than the original classical score and brings a new dimension to it. Hats off to those responsible for this work!

Enjoy!

(thanks for the heads up Syxtems Systems!)

Interesting fact.
Both 2001 and Wizard of Oz synch beautifully to Pink Floyd. Doug Trumbull did the special effects for 2001 and his father did the FX for Wizard of Oz.
In the original story by Arthur C Clarke, the Monolith was actually a pyramid shaped prism that emitted rainbow colours. Just like on the Pink Floyd Dark Side Of the Moon album cover. The rainbow effect didn’t work for the movie so they changed it to a solid black monolith. One of the main characters in 2001 is named Floyd.
OZ is the nickname of Australia, The Great Southern Continent. When explorers first discovered Australia they were actually looking for a rumoured continent that existed at the South Pole. We call this continent Antarctica, and it is of course associate with an Atlantis theory. The “Gateway” to Antarctica is Harewood, Christchurch. At the entrance to the airport is a bridge support structure designed to look like a transparent pyramid framed in white. It is lit up in a shifting rainbow of colours at night. Where is the Land of Oz? Over The Rainbow!
It is a strange world we live in!

  1. “2001: The Dark Side of the Echoes” was just removed and deleted from YouTube due to copyrights claimed and disputed by me, 7 months ago. It was originally suppose to be considered totally new art and separated from its original audio and visual sources, and was let available for showing with no restrictions in any country. Now that I have been having traffic in my channel thanks to Martin Harris, the webmaster of this site, my views have been “exploding” since only a couple of weeks. I guess, somebody in the YouTube system doesn’t want this secret art to be exposed, because it was okay by the copyright holders to show it a few days ago. No alert, no message saying it would be taking down, NOTHING! This is total CENSORSHIP. Luckily, I have another back-up channel on BitChute. The link is https://www.bitchute.com/channel/5QSGnQjFYErj/ . I have there available more edited movies, with the Pink Floyd Sound, to be enjoyed. I am inviting you all to click in this link and go see those editing. They are absolutely worth watching in its entirety. Thank you again for all the support and all the great comments that many people left before the video was taken down from YouTube. Thank you Martin for your platform and I shall advice you when my website is up and running.

    1. Sorry to hear this after all your hard work. Please do let me know about your site and keep in touch!

  2. I wanna thank Martin Harris for this fabulous and incredible review of my re-editing of the masterpiece that is 2001: A Space Odyssey with the Pink Floyd sound as the soundtrack. Some parts of the movie, most by the end, have the music way too loud, so sometimes when the protagonists talked to each, or when they talk to HAL, they cannot be heard perfectly. I am still working on the rest of the subtitles, for the first half is already published and synced with the movie (chose: English – Movie Subtitles). I wanna thank anyone who is curious about the meaning of life and has real care and love for the pursuit of the truth. Truth is not only out there, but is and has always been inside of us. And audio-visual understanding is the best way to express those insights on life. My website is not up and running, but should be around next year (be patient, please). I have a compilation of films that continue the saga that was ILLUMINATI PROJECT (part 1-263). They more old than this 2001 edit, but have always been brought down by YouTube algorithms. Thank you again Martin and anyone who watches the whole remake of the movie in its entirety. I would believe that Stanley would have been really proud of it. And, I’d really be interested to see and listen what the surviving members of the Floyd would have to say on it, if they were to stumble upon this edit.

    1. My pleasure SSC. there is much more to come on the subject of 2001, Wizard Of Oz and Dark Side. I look forward to your website and to future communication with you. Cheers!
