“The main difficulty during the Kali Yuga is to maintain dharma, to maintain the order of the world and the integrity of our own actions, which are intimately connected in Indian thought, because we are in part responsible for the smooth running of the universe…There’s only one thing left for us to do in these dramatic times: maintain our dharmas in circumstances which will make it harder and harder for us to do so.” |
http://renavigating-the-human-process.blogspot.com/2013/12/boreal-winter-solstice-maintaining.html HAPPY SOLSTICE YESTERDAY, HAPPY FULL MOON SHINING OUT OF MY WINDOW RIGHT NOW, MERRY CHRISTMAS IN TWO DAYS AND how the heck are yawl?????? Once again temporal exigencies have precluded the comprehensive catch-up email post I would like to be doing now, but at least I am getting this one off 🙂 Today here on the south island of New Zealand we were blessed with almost a full day of sunshine, in reality the only day with this much sun that I’ve experienced since two days before I left Rarotonga over two weeks ago. I was very blessed and lucky to be able to go with my lovely friend Isabel to Castle Hill, probably my very favourite nature power spot in all of New Zealand and to me one of the most powerful places in the entire southern hemisphere. I have been saying this for years before the Dalai Llama came there a while back! Castle Hill is several ridges covered with thousands of the coolest sandstone rock formations you will ever see anywhere, many of them look like beings and life-forms. This was the sacred learning and wisdom centre for the Waitaha people that historian Barry Brailsford has written about so extensively. This was my 18th or 20th visit to the rocks since 2000. Isabel and I were invited by Grandmother Marotini, the matron guardian of all the rocks there, to come and have a picnic right at her northern base. With the beautiful sunshine and millions of daisies, today could not have been more wonderful. ON THE BRINK RADIO IS ALIVE AND WELL, thanks to Jules Stanley who has resurrected UCY.TV. My new show for each week is now Sunday at 8am Eastern Standard Time USA. I haven’t calculated the Hawai’i and down under times but the one for this week is airing just about now. Here are the last three new shows I’ve done since my last ‘official’ blog post and email in September.
