The news began with escalation of the march towards Armageddon in the Middle East, (more of which shortly) but this was rapidly eclipsed by the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Just yesterday I was watching him on YouTube. Controversial and confronting but always keeping things civil, honest and approachable. MH

However, I was disgusted if not surprised by the utterly repugnant post-death smear of Kirk’s character published by the New Zealand Herald and sourced from AFP.

The article in question continues with more insults and derogatory comment. I won’t link to this garbage, you can seek it out for yourselves. Kirk was a center-right conservative (not “hard right”) who challenged and debated, but never “lashed out”. Describing the claims of election fraud as “false” is in itself a false premise. There is evidence aplenty of election fraud in the 2020 campaign for those willing to seek it out.
To their credit, the normally heavily Left-leaning news agency Stuff managed to refrain from gutter-press level reporting, producing multiple updates on Kirk’s shooting and referring to him accurately as a “Conservative activist”. Excellent dignity and restraint, Stuff.co.nz.

Meanwhile, political figures on both sides of the spectrum with any humanity left in their souls condemned the assassination and expressed their shock and condolences.
Let us hope this tragedy does NOT lead to an escalation of violence and division but instead helps bring Americans together to stand against extremism.

Misdirection on your part. My reference to standing against extremism referred to actions not a specific person. Left and right political ends of the spectrum finding common ground and decrying acts of extremism. like shooting someone in the neck for exercising his right to speak freely. And censorship of free speech is extremism is it not? Especially when the censorship of such freedom involves murder. Or do you approve of murder, zaggaz?
