Al Gore: “I was wrong about climate change.”

Alas, this article from Thomas Peep’s Daily News is satirical.  Sadly, Mr Gore is not known for his honesty and he’ll only come clean like this if all of hell freezes over.

For those who still believe the cataclysmic pronouncements he made in An Inconvenient Truth, wake up – remember that this man is a professional politician, not an environmentalist.  Gore, whose Dad was also a politician, graduated with a BA in Government, not with a Bachelor of Science in climate science.   Also, take a look at his track record and you will learn that he is duplicitous and doesn’t practice what he preaches.  For example, when he was the Vice President of US – when he had the power to do something, he failed to do anything for genuine environmental problems, such as the dissemination of DU, nanotechnology and GMOs.  Plus throughout the years he has flogged the “carbon polluters,” he and his family have been aiding and profiting from an oil company on a grand scale. Gore’s political influence has enabled the Occidental Petroleum Company, which former CEO, Armand Hammer said had Gore’s father in his back pocket, to acquire the oil-drilling rights over 47,000 acres of the Elk Hills reserve in California.  Not only did the 1997 sale represent the largest quantity of public land to be turned over to a private corporation in US history, but it also spelt doom for the Kitanemuk people’s traditional lands and encroached upon an area environmentalists said was home to three rare animal species.  On the very same day as the sale, in an audacious display of hypocrisy, one which should serve as a warning to us all, Gore gave a speech on the “terrifying prospect” of global warming, a problem that he ascribed to the unchecked use of fossil fuels, such as oil!.

If you want to do more research into what is really behind the global warming issue, I’ve put some handy links and quotes at the end of this post. (CS)

Now for the article from Thomas Peep’s Daily News:

Al Gore Admits: “I was Wrong about Climate Change”

Thomas Peep’scomplete_idiots_globalwarmi

Yesterday, in a stunning reversal, Al Gore broke down in tears in front of a throng of reporters at Chicago’s World Green Day conference, admitting publicly for the first time that the theory of Global Warming, which the former Vice-President has touted for the better part of three decades, has been nothing more than “hot air”.  ”The fear that I’ve been perpetuating a hoax has been growing inside me for some time. I finally had no alternative but to admit that my confidence in the global warming theory was melting away faster than the ice caps supposedly were. The mountain of evidence and hard scientific data has overwhelmingly persuaded me to reverse my previous position on Global Warming.”

Gore went on to plead his case by presenting another powerpoint slideshow depicting what he described as  “irrefutable evidence.”

Some highlights:

The Polar bears aren’t drowning. (the pictures of them clinging to icebergs for their lives, are actually the bears frolicking, as they have done for centuries)

CO2 is not responsible for climate change, i.e. it does not trap heat within the earth’s atmosphere. In fact, a proliferation of CO2 in the earth’s atmosphere, if true, would actually be beneficial to plant-life, as this is what they actually breathe”.

The Artic and Antarctic ice sheets are not melting.

The world’s oceans and seas, that are all interconnected, are not rising. (He admitted sheepishly that his six year old niece pointed out to him that it’s impossible for sea levels to rise in one place and not another) He added, “I’m quite sure the millions of people who live on the coast of America would have reported ever encroaching seas by now if this sad and disingenuous tale was true.”

There is no consensus amongst any scientists that the earth is heating up. The only consensus is that left-wing extremists agree that fear and hysteria is the best way to gain grant money from gullible governments.

The graph used in the documentary “An Inconvenient Truth” known as the “hockey stick” because of it’s dramatic up sweep in the last 20 years, was in fact doctored to suit his own scaremongering needs. The previous 200 million years, which show similar up-sweeps; peaks and valleys,  did not suit his hysterical viewpoint, so, he made a conscious decision to jettison this sound-science.

Carbon offsets are one of the saddest jokes ever perpetrated on the sheeple of this planet. (Almost as bad as the global dimming theory)

Carbon offsets do not work. (Planting trees to reduce CO2 emissions is likened to people drinking sea water to keep the world’s oceans down — as CO2 is only held by a tree for a certain time before being released back into the atmosphere)

Even if the world heated up by 5 degrees Celsius, the coldest parts of both poles are minus 30 degrees Celsius. Higher temperatures would result in more condensation at the equator,  which results in more snow over the polar caps at the coldest points and thicker ice sheets; this would, in effect trap more water as ice, not less, resulting in lower coast lines. (This has not happened, proof-positive that the world is not heating up)

foolaidThe environmental movement, a once noble cause, has been hijacked by the loony left, homeless anti-capitalists like Ed Begley who use fear for political expediency, who stymie growth through the use of hysterical propaganda. They deliver the propaganda to a willing audience of conspiracy theorists, weak-minded individuals, and worse still,  starfuckers who are so awestruck by a cadre of environmentalist Hollywood elitists who, whilst being the most outspoken on environmental issues, end up,  more often than not, being the biggest hypocrites with their lavish lifestyles, private jets, energy-sucking 10-bedroom mansions, fleets of limousines, prestige cars and entourages of hangers-on that serve no real purpose to either them or humanity.

On the defensive

On the defensive

The rise in temperature: Is the Earth hotter now than it was 40 years ago?

Gore saved his most elaborate explanation for the microscopic rise in urban temperatures that has been reported relentlessly in the mainstream-press.
“When we talk about Earth’s temperature, we are really talking not about overall temperature but about our cities’ temperatures, as that’s where the vast majority of people live. The fact is: cities are in fact hotter now than they were 40 years ago. This is true. The higher temperatures in recent decades is the direct result of ‘urban sprawl’.” Gore stated. ”Take a city like Los Angeles which has urban sprawl in all directions, sprawl that has tripled and quadrupled over the past 50 years. The vast networks of roads, concrete, glass, steel, and other raw materials now covering this once arid landscape create the temperature rise. Simply put:  concrete, tar, metal, glass, steel, heat up far more during the day than fields, valleys, rivers, and forests, thus increasing temperature in the most densely populated cities. If temperatures were measured in the middle of nowhere there would be no significant increase.

If we were to return Los Angeles today to the rural landscape, as it was in say 1880, the temperature in the middle of the day would be 5-10 degrees lower than it is now. So, the bigger the urban sprawl, the higher the temperature. We have used these alarming statistics, that this city, or that city has posted the highest temperature, or the hottest month in the past 100 years to scare people and manipulate statistics to support our hysterical viewpoints.” Gore went on to say. “And for that, people of planet earth, I am truly sorry.”

Polar bears: Doing fine, sunshine.

Polar bears: Doing fine, sunshine.

Gore went on for two hours taking aim at myth after myth and shooting it down. All that was left after the marathon three-hour admission of guilt was a shadow of man who once came within a heartbeat of being President.

8.  Read comments from Richard N. Haass of the Council of the Foreign Relations. He stated that global warming and terrorism will be used as an excuse to dissolve the sovereignty of nations. He wrote in his article “State sovereignty must be altered in a globalized era,” that a system of world government must be created and sovereignty eliminated in order to fight global warming, as well as terrorism. “Moreover, states must be prepared to cede some sovereignty to world bodies if the international system is to function,” asserts Haass. “Globalization thus implies that sovereignty is not only becoming weaker in reality, but that it needs to become weaker. States would be wise to weaken sovereignty in order to protect themselves…” In a report titled “The First Global Revolution” (1991) published by the Club of Rome, a globalist think tank, is this: “In searching for a new enemy to unite us, we came up with the idea that pollution, the threat of global warming, water shortages, famine and the like would fit the bill…. All these dangers are caused by human intervention… The real enemy, then, is humanity itself.”

Thus, he is admitting that man-made global warming is a scam concocted in order to further the globalists’ agenda for one-world government.

From the Citizens Commission on Human Rights

November 4th 2008

Auckland mother Maria Bradshaw revealed that the Police will be referring the case of the death of her son, Toran Henry, to Crown Law for possible manslaughter charges.

In a moving speech at the Citizens Commission on Human Rights exhibition opening at the ASB Showgrounds on the weekend, Ms Bradshaw said it was, “a small win in a hard battle to bring out the truth of Toran’s death.” Ms Bradshaw has fought with mental health officials since her 17-year-old son took his life while he was on antidepressants in March this year. Ms Bradshaw claims the level of care for her son was negligent and irresponsible and that he never should have been prescribed antidepressants at such a young age. She also claims the psychiatric doctor stated Toran would be able cease taking the drugs to drink alcohol on the weekends and resume taking them afterwards.

In her talk that was given at the opening of an exhibition displaying the horrors of psychiatric abuse she said her son had been upset at the break-up with his girlfriend and that he fell victim to the psychiatric system of drugging people for ordinary life problems. She claimed she was threatened to have her son taken off her if she did not go along with the antidepressant treatment, which she opposed.

The Police referral to have Crown Law examine the case for possible manslaughter charges comes on the heels of a damning yet-to-be-published external report into the mental health care surrounding Toran Henry’s death.

Citizens Commission on Human Rights director, Mr Steve Green cited another case where the United Kingdom Police levelled manslaughter charges against a psychiatrist, Dr Peter Fisher, the NZ psychiatrist who was involved in three deaths including the case where psychiatric patient, Mark Burton broke into his mother’s home and stabbed her to death the day after Fisher had discharged him. Dr Fisher moved to England, where he practiced illegally. UK police became involved due to negligence over the suicide of one of his patients who overdosed on painkillers.

“Serious adverse events from psychotropic drugs such as antidepressants are well known by doctors. International warnings have been published around suicide in under-18-year olds, including New Zealand’s own Medsafe,” Mr Green said.

Mr Green believes strong measures need to be taken to prevent future deaths by suicide by people on psychotropic medication. The United States has now recorded that half of their suicides are committed by people on antidepressants, a worrying trend he doesn’t want in New Zealand.

Maria Bradshaw, mother of 17-year-old Toran Henry leant her weight behind the psychiatric labelling and drugging campaign, by travelling to Auckland especially to be a guest speaker. Amongst other things, she spoke out against the complete lack of objective medical tests in mental health, which ended with her son being prescribed an antidepressant and taking his own life earlier this year.

CCHR’s director, Mr Steve Green says the psychiatric abuse of human rights is worst when it is directed at kids, such as the Children of Lake Alice, which the Commission exposed in the mid 1970s. Current day psychiatric abuse of children are the powerful methamphetamine-based stimulants, anti-psychotics and anti-depressants administered for conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), which he says was literally voted into existence.

In this country the use of anti-depressants for teenagers is very controversial with claims of how they cause suicidal behaviour,” he said. The Ministry of Health has issued advice to doctors and is requiring warnings on all antidepressants to indicate possible increased suicide risk and the need to closely monitor patients with depression, particularly young persons.

The Commission is now working on cases where young people have committed suicide while in mental health care and assisting families through the complaint processes. Suicide is a big issue; according to the Chief Coroner, 511 suicides were reported in the year ended in June, surpassing road deaths.

“One is too many, these are devastating events that are generally ignored, until it happens to your family or a close friend, when it is too late. This is why the Commission is now working on this level and holding public exhibitions, to help educate people – information empowers people and this is vital,” Mr Green said.

The display highlights the absolute need to reform key areas of mental health treatment,” Green says and he cites the continued use of electric shock as well as the many abuses that have occurred within New Zealand psychiatry, like electric shocking children in the 1970s, the experimental use of deep sleep treatment and electro leucotomies on women in Nelson in the 1950s.

The 40-metre exhibition presents the often-brutal history of psychiatry in a series of panels and videos documenting over a century of human rights abuses around the world. Over 150 experts in medicine, law, psychiatry, education, etc were interviewed. The documentary comes with a warning however as no punches are pulled: it has an R-18 certificate.

CCHR was co-founded in 1969 by the Church of Scientology and Dr. Thomas Szasz, Professor of Psychiatry Emeritus from the State University of New York Health Science Center in Syracuse. As an international mental health watchdog they have successfully achieved hundreds of legislative protections against psychiatric abuse.

Plan To Align US-EU Rules Over Next 7 Years

Posted: January 16, 2008 1:00 am Eastern By Jerome R. Corsi

Six U.S. senators and 49 House members are advisers for a group working toward a Transatlantic Common Market between the U.S. and the European Union by 2015.

The Transatlantic Policy Network – a non-governmental organization headquartered in Washington and Brussels – is advised by the bi-partisan congressional TPN policy group, chaired by Sen. Robert Bennett, R-Utah.

The plan – currently being implemented by the Bush administration with the formation of the Transatlantic Economic Council in April 2007 – appears to be following a plan written in 1939 by a world-government advocate who sought to create a Transatlantic Union as an international governing body.

An economist from the World Bank has argued in print that the formation of the Transatlantic Common Market is designed to follow the blueprint of Jean Monnet, a key intellectual architect of the European Union, recognizing that economic integration must inevitably lead to political integration.

As WND previously reported, a key step in advancing this goal was the creation of the Transatlantic Economic Council by the U.S. and the EU through an agreement signed by President Bush, German Chancellor Angela Merkel – the current president of the European Council – and European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso at a White House summit meeting last April.

Writing in the Fall 2007 issue of the Streit Council journal “Freedom and Union,” Rep. Jim Costa, D-Calif., a member of the TPN advisory group, affirmed the target date of 2015 for the creation of a Transatlantic Common Market.

Costa said the Transatlantic Economic Council is tasked with creating the Transatlantic Common Market regulatory infrastructure. The infrastructure would not require congressional approval, like a new free-trade agreement would.

Writing in the same issue of the Streit Council publication, Bennett also confirmed that what has become known as the “Merkel initiative” would allow the Transatlantic Economic Council to integrate and harmonize administrative rules and regulations between the U.S. and the EU “in a very quiet way,” without introducing a new free trade agreement to Congress.

Sen. Robert Bennett, R-Utah

No document on the TEC website suggests that any of the regulatory changes resulting from the process of integrating with the EU will be posted in the Federal Register or submitted to Congress as new free-trade agreements or as modifications to existing trade agreements.

In addition to Bennett, the advisers to the Transatlantic Policy Network includes the following senators: Thad Cochran, R-Miss.; Chuck Hagel, R-Neb.; Barbara Mikulski, D-Md.; Pat Roberts, R-Kan.; and Gordon Smith, R-Ore.

Among the 49 U.S. congressmen on the TPN’s Congressional Group are John Boehner, R-Ohio; John Dingell, D-Mich.; Kenny Marchant, R-Texas; and F. James Sensenbrenner, R-Wisc.

WND contacted Bennett’s office for comment but received no return call by the publication deadline.

A progress report on the TEC website indicates the following U.S. government agencies are already at work integrating and harmonizing administrative rules and regulations with their EU counterparts: The Office of Management and Budget, the Food and Drug Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

A step toward world government

The Streit Council is named after Clarence K. Streit, whose 1939 book “Union Now” called for the creation of a Transatlantic Union as a step toward world government. The new federation, with an international constitution, was to include the 15 democracies of U.S., UK, France, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Finland, the Netherlands, Ireland, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Switzerland and South Africa.

Ira Straus, the founder and U.S. coordinator of the Committee on Eastern Europe and Russia in NATO, a group dedicated to including Russia within NATO, credits Bennett as TPN chairperson with reviving Streit’s work “seven decades later.”

A globalist with leftist political leanings, Straus was a Fulbright professor of political science at Moscow State University and the Moscow State Institute of International Relations from 2001 to 2002.

The congruity of ideas between Bennett and Streit is clear when Bennett writes passages that echo precisely goals Streit stated in 1939.

One example is Bennett’s claim in his Streit Council article that creating a Transatlantic Common Market would combine markets that comprise 60 percent of world Gross Domestic Product under a common regulatory standard that would become “the de facto world standard, regardless of what any other parties say.”

Similarly, Streit wrote in “Union Now” that the economic power of the 15 democracies he sought to combine in a Transatlantic Union would be overwhelming in their economic power and a clear challenge to the authoritarian states then represented by Nazi Germany and the communist Soviet Union.

Also writing in the Fall 2007 issue of the Streit Council journal “Freedom and Union,” World Bank economist Domenec Ruiz Devesa openly acknowledged that “transatlantic economic integration, though important in itself, is not the end.”

“As understood by Jean Monnet,” he continued, “economic integration must and will lead to political integration, since an integrated market requires common institutions producing common rules to govern it.”

Transatlantic Common Market by 2015

Last February, the Transatlantic Policy Network formed a Transatlantic Market Implementation Group to put in place “a roadmap and framework” to direct the activity of the Transatlantic Economic Council to achieve the creation of the Transatlantic Common Market by 2015.

The Transatlantic Economic Council is an official international governmental body established by executive fiat in the U.S. and the EU without congressional approval or oversight. No new law or treaty was sought by the Bush administration to approve or implement the plan to create a Transatlantic Common Market.

The U.S. congressmen and senators are involved only indirectly, as advisers to the influential non-governmental organization.

In a February 2007 document entitled “Completing the Transatlantic Market,” the TPN’s Transatlantic Market Implementation Group writes, “The aim of this roadmap and framework would be to remove barriers to trade and investment across the Atlantic and to reduce regulatory compliance costs.”

The document further acknowledged the impact the Transatlantic Common Market agenda would have on U.S. and European legislators: “The roadmap and framework will necessarily oblige legislative and regulatory authorities in both Europe and the United States to take into consideration from the outset the impact their acts may have on transatlantic economic relations and to ensure that their respective governmental bodies involved have the necessary budgetary and organizational resources to work closely with each other.”

Clinton administration roots

The work to create a Transatlantic Common Market can be traced back to the Clinton administration’s decision to join in the 1995 New Transatlantic Agenda with the European Commission.

Today, the website of the Transatlantic Economic Council openly proclaims the TEC is “a political body to oversee and accelerate government-to-government integration between the European Union and the United States of America.”

The first meeting of the TEC was held Nov. 9 in Washington, D.C., and the next meeting is scheduled for June.

A joint statement issued at the Nov. 9 meeting specified progress was being made “in removing barriers to trade and investment and in easing regulatory burdens” in a wide range of policy areas, including drugs and disease control, the importation into the EU of U.S. poultry treated with pathogen reduction treatments, federal communication commissions allowing suppliers to create declarations of conformity for products, uniform standards for electrical products and agreements on standards for pure biofuels.
