Trump Threatens To Totally Destroy North Korea At UN: MSM Reports

U.S. President Donald Trump escalated his threats against North Korea over its nuclear challenge on Tuesday, threatening to “totally destroy” the country of 26 million people and mocking its leader, Kim Jong Un, as a “rocket man.”

In a hard-edged speech to the United Nations General Assembly, Trump offered a grim portrait of a world in peril, adopted a more confrontational approach to solving global challenges from Iran to Venezuela, and gave an unabashed defense of U.S. sovereignty.

“The United States has great strength and patience, but if it is forced to defend itself or its allies, we will have no choice but to totally destroy North Korea,” Trump told the 193-member world body, sticking closely to a script.

As loud, startled murmurs filled the hall, Trump described Kim in an acid tone, saying, “Rocket man is on a suicide mission for himself and his regime.”

His remarks rattled the leaders gathered in the green-marbled U.N. General Assembly hall, where minutes earlier U.N. Secretary-General Antonio Guterres appealed for statesmanship, saying: “We must not sleepwalk our way into war.”

Trump’s most direct military threat to attack North Korea, in his debut appearance at the General Assembly, was his latest expression of concern about Pyongyang’s repeated launching of ballistic missiles over Japan and underground nuclear tests.

comment. Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallstrom crossed her arms.

“It was the wrong speech, at the wrong time, to the wrong audience,” Wallstrom later told the BBC.

North Korea’s mission to the United Nations did not immediately respond to a request for comment. A junior North Korean diplomat sat in the delegation’s front-row seat for Trump’s speech, the North Korean U.N. mission said. His speech recalled the fiery nationalist language of his Jan. 20 inaugural address when he pledged to end what he called an “American carnage” of rusted factories and crime.

‘HOSTILE’ BEHAVIOR

His strongest words were directed at North Korea. He urged the United Nations member states to work together to isolate the Kim government until it ceases its “hostile” behavior.

In what may have been a veiled prod at China, the North’s major trading partner, Trump said: “It is an outrage that some nations would not only trade with such a regime but would arm, supply and financially support a country that imperils the world with nuclear conflict.”

The U.N. Security Council has unanimously imposed nine rounds of sanctions on North Korea since 2006 and Guterres appealed for that 15-member body to maintain its unity.

Turning to Iran, Trump called the 2015 nuclear deal negotiated by his predecessor, Barack Obama, an embarrassment and hinted that he may not recertify the agreement when it comes up for a mid-October deadline.

“I don’t think you’ve heard the last of it,” he said.

He called Iran an “economically depleted rogue state” that exports violence.

There was no immediate comment from either Iran’s U.N. delegation or its foreign ministry in Tehran.

French President Emmanuel Macron, in his U.N. speech, said his country would not close the door to negotiations over the North Korea crisis and staunchly defended the 2015 Iran nuclear deal.

“Renouncing it would be a grave error,” Macron said.

Trump said the United States does not seek to impose its will on other nations and will respect other countries’ sovereignty. He said the U.S. military would soon be the strongest it has ever been.

Trump called the collapsing situation in Venezuela “completely unacceptable” and warned the United States was considering what further actions it can take.

“We cannot stand by and watch,” he said.

Venezuela rejected Trump’s threats and said it was prepared to resist any U.S. actions, even a military invasion. Foreign Minister Jorge Arreaza called Trump a white supremacist who was returning the world to the Cold War of the 1980s.

“He came to the house of peace and promoted war and the destruction of certain countries,” Arreaza told reporters.

Financial markets showed little reaction to Trump’s speech, with most major assets hovering near the unchanged mark on the day.

“He stuck with his script,” said Lennon Sweeting, chief market strategist at XE.com in Toronto. “The dollar/yen jumped around a bit but it’s basically flat. I don’t think we will see any more volatility out of this.”

FULL SPEACH FROM RT:

Couple saw ’40 UFOs’ hovering over British beach before major military operation

AN ELDERLY couple have told of the bizarre sight of 30 to 40 UFOs hovering outside their home the night before a major military operation unfolded.

The husband and wife, aged in their 80s, who have not been named claim to have witnessed the phenomenal sight over Wilsthorpe Beach in East Yorkshire.

UFO military

Paranormal investigator Paul Sinclair tells their story in a new book he is penning about the Wilsthorpe Incident, which has been branded Britain’s new Roswell due to the mysterious military activity seemingly connected to UFO sightings.
The couple’s bizarre claims concern the night of September 14 2009 at 11pm.
They lived in one of 30 flats that overlook the sea at Wilsthorpe.
The pair decided to go to bed, however, as the woman went to turn off the lights, she saw a glow outside.
Mr Sinclair said “something told her to go outside” before she opened the front door and looked out to sea where she was amazed to see several glowing UFOs above the coast.
Mr Sinclair said she described them as 15-feet long and eight-feet wide “spaceships over the sea”.
He said: “She said there was a huge circle of boomerang-shaped craft.

“She said there were loads – 30 to 40 and the sea below was bubbling, banging and crashing.
“They were silent, but there was electricity going into the sea.”

“Ron (her husband) said it was like a blue and white Christmas tree over the sea. He was frightened and left after ten minutes and put his head under the pillow for the night.
“But, she told me she was not frightened and knew she was never going to see anything like it again in her life.”
She stayed for around half and hour before the objects began to “lift out of the circle in pairs at a 45 degree angle until just two were left which shot off straight up.”
Yesterday, Express.co.uk exclusively revealed how the couple said the following day the beach was swamped with military.
Two Chinook helicopters full of RAF personnel landed at the beach by the remote hamlet.
Mr Sinclair also spoke with a man who runs a bait shop at Bridlington Harbour, who told him his bait diggers had seen “triangle” craft enter the sea in 2009 over the same period.
Mr Sinclair also spoke with a man who runs a bait shop at Bridlington Harbour, who told him his bait diggers had seen “triangle” craft enter the sea in 2009 over the same period.

He said two of his bait diggers had been on Wilsthorpe Beach the day the couple saw the military operation.
They told of seeing “triangles entering the sea” and later “being surrounded by soldiers.”
Separately a man working on a boat at Blythe Park boat compound also confirmed the military presence, he said.
Mr Sinclair submitted a Freedom of Information request to the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to find out why the operation took place on September 15.
However, the response he eventually received, said it was just a “routine military exercise” and few other details were provided.
The reply said “no live ammunition was used” and “any explosions heard were controlled detonations of simulated ammunitions.”
The response added that it was “one of a number of regular exercises” as part of work to defend the UK, and new locations would often be used with landowners’ consent.
Mr Sinclair continues to investigate the case and is trying to obtain historic coastguard reports from the period.

He believes it is connected to a high level of reported UFO activity along a 25-mile stretch of the East Yorkshire and North Yorkshire coast from Brandesburton in East Yorkshire to Scarborough, North Yorkshire, between May and September 2009.
High levels of military aircraft flying low and circling near his home in Bridlington, East Yorkshire, were also recorded that September.
Mr Sinclair said the case did not yet prove a UFO presence, but: “I think the military arrived because of the objects.”
In a post on his Truth Proof Facebook page about the case, he wrote: “Nothing found can prove with any certainty the UFOs were over the sea as an elderly couple claim, or that the black triangles entered the sea in September 2009 like the bait diggers described.
“All I can do is stack the evidence for and against, either side of the scale.”
Some of the sightings have been detailed in Mr Sinclair’s first book – Truth-Proof: The Truth That Leaves No Proof, which is available on Amazon.

British Army Drones: 1.1 Billion Pound Fail

Drone british army

Two multi-million pound British Army drones crashed after taking off from a base in mid Wales, the Ministry of Defence has confirmed.
The unmanned Watchkeeper aircraft were lost in the Irish Sea earlier this year, leading commanders to temporarily ground the entire fleet.
Flight trials resumed at Aberporth Airport in Ceredigion in early July.
The crashes are the latest in a series of accidents and delays to have hit the Army’s new spy planes.
The MoD ordered 54 Watchkeepers in 2005 as part of an £847m deal.
Originally, it was hoped they would be in service by 2010.
A recent report from the UK infrastructure and projects authority said the project had already cost £1.1bn.
Delays have been blamed on technical and safety issues and a lack of trained personnel.
The MoD said despite the crashes, it hoped to bring the aircraft into full service by the end of the year.
A spokesman said: “Inquiries into the specific incidents are ongoing as they look to learn all they can from the events”.

Russian submarines fire seven cruise missiles at Isis militants

The Western Media were invited to a rare show of Russian military power in action:

Russia missiles ISIS
Strikes from eastern Mediterranean are latest effort in assault on Deir Ezzor stronghold

Jon Sharman
Thursday 14 September 2017 15:20 BST

Russian submarines have fired seven cruise missiles at Isis militants in Syria, Russia’s defence ministry reportedly said.
The craft were operating in the eastern Mediterranean, news agencies said, and used Kalibr missiles to strike targets in the suburbs of Deir Ezzor, in Syria’s east.
“The targets were command posts, communication centres, as well as militants’ weapons and ammunition stockpiles in areas of south-east Deir Ezzor under the control of Islamic State,” the ministry said.

The submarines were the Kilo-class boats Velikiy Novgorod and Kolpino, according to Russian state media.
The head of the Britain-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said buses and vehicles carrying about 400 militants and civilians crossed into Deir Ezzor province on Wednesday.
Syrian government forces broke a three-year Isis siege on parts of the provincial capital last week, and are now battling the extremists inside the city.
The militants control less than half the city and are encircled on three sides with their backs to the Euphrates River. However, they still control rural areas outside the city and the border with Iraq.
US-backed Syrian forces are meanwhile advancing in the surrounding province from the east and north, on the other side of the river, setting up a race to the border with Iraq.

Israeli jets hit ‘chemical weapons site’ in Syria

Syria’s army said Israeli air strikes on Thursday killed two people at a military facility in the country’s west, a zone where the regime has been accused of developing chemical weapons.
The army statement said it took place near the town of Masyaf and warned against the “dangerous repercussions of this aggressive action to the security and stability of the region”.
An Israeli army spokeswoman earlier declined to discuss reports of a strike in Syria, saying the army does not comment on operational matters.
Israeli officials have in the past admitted that Israel has attacked weapons shipments bound for Lebanon’s Iran-backed Hezbollah group, an ally of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, without specifying which ones.
Amos Yadlin, a former head of Israeli military intelligence, tweeted that the reported attack was not routine and targeted a Syrian military scientific centre.

“The facility at Masyaf also produces chemical weapons and explosive barrels that have killed thousands of Syrian civilians,” Yadlin said in the tweet.
There was no independent confirmation that this was the target but the United Nations has said in the past that the Syrian government has carried out chemical weapons attacks, which Damascus denies.
Israeli officials have also previously said that Israel and Russia, another Assad ally, maintain regular contacts to coordinate military action in Syria.
Jets flying over Lebanon overnight broke the sound barrier and Lebanese media reported that some Israeli jets had breached Lebanese airspace.

SpaceX beats hurricane with smooth launch of military’s X-37B spaceplane

What is the XB37 Drone Shuttle doing up there? In the face of secrecy, one can only speculate…

But please feel free to share your speculations!

.Succeeding on a one-shot launch attempt before Hurricane Irma shuts down the Cape Canaveral spaceport, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket thundered into orbit Thursday with the U.S. Air Force’s X-37B spaceplane, a reusable robotic mini-shuttle that could stay aloft for years with clandestine on-board experiments…..

…..Following guidelines set by the Air Force, SpaceX ended live commentary on the progress of the second stage’s flight less than three minutes after liftoff. Video coverage of the booster’s plunge back to Earth continued, and three of the first stage’s Merlin 1D powerplants restarted high over the Atlantic Ocean for “boost-back” and “entry” burns to steer the rocket back toward land…..

….Built by Boeing’s Phantom Works division and managed by the Air Force’s Rapid Capabilities Office, each spaceship has a wingspan of nearly 15 feet (4.5 meters) and a length of more than 29 feet (8.9 meters). The ship’s wings fit snugly inside the 17-foot-diameter (5-meter) payload shrouds on the Falcon 9 and Atlas 5 rockets.
The X-37B, also called the Orbital Test Vehicle, weighs about 11,000 pounds (5 metric tons) and has typically orbited Earth at altitudes between 200 and 250 miles (320 to 400 kilometers).
No details about the X-37B’s altitude or orbital parameters were released for this mission, but safety notices published for pilots and mariners ahead of the launch suggested the rocket would place the miniature windowless space shuttle into an orbit tilted between roughly 40 and 65 degrees to the equator.
The Air Force announced before the launch that the fifth X-37B flight, known as OTV-5, would go into a higher-inclination orbit than earlier X-37B flights. The four X-37B missions to date flew in orbits tilted between 38 and 43.5 degrees to the equator, but the this one will reach higher latitudes on each lap around Earth.
Military officials said launching the OTV-5 mission on a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket adds to the program’s flexibility, demonstrating the X-37B can fly on two different types of boosters.
Several firsts are planned for the OTV-5 mission.
“The fifth OTV mission continues to advance the X-37B’s performance and flexibility as a space technology demonstrator and host platform for experimental payloads,” the Air Force said in a press release. “This mission carries small satellite ride shares and will demonstrate greater opportunities for rapid space access and on-orbit testing of emerging space technologies.
Military officials have lauded the X-37B’s ability to return experimental hardware back to Earth for inspection and reuse. The Air Force did not disclose whether the secondary payloads riding with the X-37B will deploy from the Falcon 9 rocket itself or from the spaceplane’s cargo bay.
“Building upon the fourth mission and previous collaboration with experiment partners, this mission will host the Air Force Research Laboratory Advanced Structurally Embedded Thermal Spreader payload to test experimental electronics and oscillating heat pipe technologies in the long duration space environment,” the statement said.
The thermal spreader experiment will test three oscillating heat pipes. The new heat pipe technology is lighter and less expensive than components used on most satellites to keep internal avionics temperatures within safe margins.
“The three primary science objectives are to measure the initial on-orbit thermal performance, to measure long duration thermal performance, and to assess any lifetime degradation,” the Air Force Research Laboratory said in a fact sheet…..

…The rest of the flight plan remains secret, along with the mission’s planned duration.

US Navy Seals “Who Killed Bin Laden” training Kim ‘assassination’ squad

THE TIMES Reports:

US Navy Seals training Kim ‘assassination’ squad

“South Korean commandos will work with the US Navy Seals who killed Osama bin Laden to create a special unit to assassinate Kim Jong-un in the event of war.
The announcement coincides with a decision by the US to waive restrictions on the size and range of South Korean ballistic missiles, allowing it to develop its own independent capacity to drop bunker-busting bombs on the underground headquarters of the North Korean leadership in Pyongyang.”

Navy

I won’t bore you with the rest of the item. Firstly, since they’ve just announced this to the world, it rather takes away the element of surprise, yes?

Secondly, are we going to get some lame story about how they found Kim hiding out in a cardboard box, “and he came out with all guns blazing…no….hang on, he opened the door with a hostage and…no, he just poked his face out the door and we shot him…oh, ya know, the “fog of war” and all that, but anyhow we dumped his body at sea in accordance with North Korean tradition…..”

Ample Strike 2017 – Weather modification above NATO Theater of operations

Friday, September 1. 2017. Day 9 of the drills, the manipulation of the jet-winds through ionospheric heating has been dropped due to the “unforseen” weather calamities in USA and above the Atlantic. The repercussions for the wather in Central and Eastern Europe are obvious from the video recording.
From 23 August to 12 September 2017, the international Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC) exercise Ample Strike 2017 (AMSE17) is going to take place in the Czech Republic. Overall 18 Allies and Partners have confirmed participation in this traditional air-land-integration event.
This year should participate about 1 300 trainees, 300 of them are Allies and Partners.
Nowadays 18 countries including the Czech Republic have confirmed their participation: Canada, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovenia, the Slovak Republic, the United Kingdom and the United States.
Flying assets used for the training include Czech L-159 ALCA, JAS-39 Gripen, Mi-24/35 and Mi-171; these will possibly be joined by Lithuanian L-39, German PC-9, Learjet and Tornado jets, Polish Su- 22, Hungarian JAS-39 and Slovenian PC-9 planes ect. The United States Air Force is presently considering participating with AH-64 attack helicopters, strategic B-1 and B-52 bombers as well as KC-135R tanker aircraft.
Like last year’s exercise, Armed Forces of the Czech Republic and the exercise director’s team from the Air Force Command will be in charge for conducting a challenging and realistic exercise. Comprehensive logistic support will be provided by almost all components of the Czech Armed Forces. The main base for AMSE17 will again be 22ndHelicopter Base Sedlec, Vícenice in Namest nad Oslavou where all coordination will reside. Besides providing valued training for international JTAC´s teams, another goal of the exercise is to demonstrate the Czech Republic’s ability to act as host country in support of a large number of Allied and Partner troops. For pilots there will be CAS procedures and also Air to Air Refueling.
