NZ’s Immunisation Advisory Centre Claims Gardasil Deaths Mainly “Motor Vehicle Accidents”

The deaths reported following vaccination are mainly motor vehicle accidents and other unrelated events.”
IMACs Ms Petousis-Harris made this ridiculous claim in a letter to The Whangarei Report on February the 19th 2009, in response to a letter I had published about the thousands of adverse reactions and precancerous lesions associated with Gardasil.
One has to wonder why the taxpayer-funded IMAC will not disclose the facts about the number of adverse reactions and deaths that have been reported, when the mainstream media will. In this CBS report that aired on the 6th of February, it was mentioned that the National Vaccine Information Center, a private vaccine-safety group, compared Gardasil adverse events to another vaccine, one also given to young people, but for meningitis. Gardasil had three times the number of Emergency Room visits – more than 5,000. As you can see, this news report also mentions that there have been 29 fatalities reported in two years in association with Gardasil, yet according to Helen Petousis-Harris “to suggest these are vaccine related is mischievous.”
Also, while Petousis-Harris claims that there is no evidence that Gardasil increases the risk of precancerous lesions, even the Gardasil insert, which can be read at Merck’s own website, indicates that it does do so. On page 14 of the insert it states: “Infected women may already have CIN 2/3 or AIS at vaccination onset and some will develop CIN 2/3 or AIS during follow-up, either related to a vaccine…”
In relation to this matter, a Judicial Watch report asserts:
“The possibility that Gardasil could make HPV infections worse is very serious, and a matter of concern with both critics of the vaccine and the FDA.”
A background document produced by the FDA’s VRBPAC in May 2006 states:
“There were two important concerns that were identified during the course of the efficacy review of this BLA [biologics license application]. One was the potential for Gardasil to enhance disease among a subgroup of subjects
who had evidence of persistent infection with vaccine relevant HPV types at baseline. The other concern was the observations of CIN 2/3 [cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, abnormal cell changes in moderate stage] or worse cases due to HPV types not contained in the vaccine. These cases of disease due to other HPV types have the potential to counter the efficacy results of Gardasil for the HPV types contained in the vaccine . . . The results of exploratory subgroup analyses . . . suggested a concern that subjects who were . . . positive for the vaccine-relevant HPV types had a greater number of CIN 2/3 or worse cases.
It further states on page 6 of the report:
“A chart in the committee’s report revealed that efficacy in subjects already exposed to “relevant HPV types” had an observed efficacy rate of -44.6%. The disturbing efficacy rate raises questions as to who should be receiving the vaccine, and why the FDA allows Gardasil to be administered without prescreening for HPV..”
So there you go. Gardasil may cause precancerous lesions in those who already have the HPV and it is all there in plain print to read. Given the fact that children are being sexually abused, and thus potentially infected with the HPV, one would think that this matter would be of great concern to IMAC and they would wish to inform the public of this serious issue.

An anti-vaccination group, in other words. Their claim that there are more adverse reactions to the Gardsil vaccine than the meningitis one can be explained by merely looking at the target group of who is being vaccinated. In the case of the HPV vaccine it’s adolescents, who don’t normally get vaccine shots, are more likely to suffer adverse effects than younger children receiving meningitis shots. From the CDC…

You’re also twisting words when you say…

Helen Petousis-Harris was referring to your suggestion that there was a link between motor vehicle accidents that occurred shortly after HPV vaccinations in New Zealand; she was not in anyway referring to reported fatalities in the USA, and to have linked her statement with to that statistic is highly misleading.
Besides, if you look at the CDC site, none of those deaths in the USA were specifically linked to Gardasil. Like your car crash victims, most appear to have just been unfortunate coincidences…

I writing from the US. There are several mother’s wanting answers as to why their daughters have developed auto immune disorders, seizure, etc following the Gardasil vaccine. We are talking to each other and posting our stories. There seems to be something happening. Maybe only 1 in 100,000 or 2 in 200,000
Check Oprah’s website and read some of the stories. Also, there is a memorial website to several that have died, mysteriously (not car accidents). I wish that I had googled Gardasil before my daughter had the injection.
The question here is how much faith is there being placed on the government appointed auditing bodies.
Recently 7 scientists from within the FDA publicly wrote a letter to President Obama asking for crucial review of procedures at FDA. There appears to be systemic abuse of power and questionable levels of corruption within the organisation.
I cannot comment on CDC but the same level of cynicism might be reasonably placed there as well. The NVIC has produced it’s review of the data obtained under Official Information release and makes for interesting reading – you can download a copy from CDC or from my web site blog – in the article “Guard Against Gardasil”.
As long as people make informed decisions that’s their choice, it’s a free world. I am not recommending one stance or the other, just presenting information and offering people an avenue to take whatever path is best for them.
For the record my view is that there are safer alternatives to Gardasil vaccination. After all Gardasil is a communicable disease with increased risk from having multiple sexual partners.
What’s happened to the use of condoms? What about single partnerships?
And even more importantly, what about ensuring your immune system is at an optimal level through effective nutritional intake?
People are assuming that the vaccine will save a lot of lives – but will it?

Additionally it’s worth knowing that Merck, the drug company marketing Gardasil, was required by federal health agencies to study Gardasil side effects in only about 1200 girls 16 years old and younger and follow them up for less than two years before getting a license.
Why was licensing fast tracked?
Is it correct to extrapolate from the 1,200 cases to the 8,000,000 young women believed to be taking part or have completed the vaccination program?
This vaccination program is so totally different from polio (which you raised some very interesting information about) or other mass diseases like HIV that a vaccination attack as has been developed seems totally out of scale tot he level of the problem it raises questions about risk versus reward – big time!
A whistleblower who worked for Merck reported that the studies she saw being done by Merck on the HPV vaccine were not conducted ethically. You can hear the interview here:

Also, it is worth bearing in mind that a top scientist for Merck, Dr Maurice Hilleman, said that Merck KNOWLINGLY distributed millions of vials of a vaccine that was contaminated with cancer-causing viruses, including SV 40.

hmmm…this is pure speculation, but….wonder what the long term effects will be on the reproductive system? only time will tell. not that it will matter any time soon, i suppose, at least not in the U.S…not with so many of our men fighting a (senseless) war in the middle east, and more being sent.
The two factors together sure do look like an effective recipe for population control – figuratively and literally.

The safety of the HPV vaccine was studied in 7 clinical trials before it was licensed. There were over 21,000 girls and women ages 9 through 26 in these clinical trials.
Since it was licensed, CDC and FDA have been closely monitoring the safety of the HPV vaccine. There are 3 systems used to monitor the safety of vaccines after they are licensed and being used in the U.S. These systems can monitor side effects already known to be caused by vaccines as well as detect rare side effects that were not identified during a vaccine’s clinical trials. The 3 systems are:
The Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS)–a useful early warning public health system that helps CDC and FDA detect possible side effects or adverse events following vaccination.
The Vaccine Safety Datalink (VSD) Project–a project between CDC and 8 health care organizations to study patterns in reports detected by VAERS and determine if a vaccine is causing a side effect.
The Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment (CISA) Network–a project between 6 academic centers in the U.S. which conduct research on adverse events that might be caused by vaccines.
