Kia Ora Gaza media release
After four days of Israeli aerial bombardments in Gaza,
25 Palestinians are dead, with dozens more injured.
A fragile truce has been announced.
Israeli war planes and troops have frequently attacked Gaza since their brutal 22-day invasion three years ago,
which left 1,400 Palestinians dead.
Most victims are civilians, including women and children.
Gaza has also been subjected to a crippling siege since 2007
when democratic elections resulted in a Hamas government.
Four Kiwi volunteers will join the next Viva Palestina Arabia international aid convoy to break the Israeli siege of Gaza.
The convoy, bearing construction aid, departs London on 22 April,
and is due to arrive in Gaza on 15 May.
