The dam was built to ease flooding and power China’s industrial heartland but its facing major problems. “Ever since the water level went up… cracks began to appear in the walls,” says one villager. Yet some say the benefits of lowering pollution far outweighs the negatives. “The electricity generated by the dam is equivalent to the power generated by 50 million tonnes of coal.”

Is China secretly discharging the Three Gorges Dam?
Amid the Three Gorges Dam’s fast-rising water level, speculation was rising among locals that the dam was leaking water downstream. Based on an internal document we obtained, the authorities ordered workers at the dam to release water downstream on Sunday evening.
400k people face quarantine as another county in China goes under lockdown. Despite few reported virus cases, the county is adopting the same measures as epicenter Wuhan used when the virus first hit. A Chinese farmer suddenly loses the legitimacy of his land. The farmer and his family have been farming there for four generations in the past 60 years.
Contradictory virus numbers are coming out of China’s capital. That’s as one hospital reports more virus cases than all of Beijing combined. Shares for one Chinese company listed in Nasdaq plunged over 20%, after some of the gold it used to obtain loans turned out to be fake.
The situation between the U-S and the Chinese regime is still tense. Maybe suggest to your mailing list etc re Uncensored in All Nz libraries ie request a copy, it is a NZ magazine printed in NZ, maybe add more homegrown content, maybe a sale rep larger local Daries Adult schools collages free copies with subscription, discounts etc etc. older back copies freely given waiting room etc etc.

If you’ll pardon the pun, I have a “deluge” of news flowing in daily on the Three Gorges Dam scenario and it looks grim. China’s building standards in general are not great and this dam is no exception. Look up NT News (China in Focus) and China Uncensored channels on YT they give daily updates. We’ll continue to feature the most significant info here too.
NZ libraries, sadly, are currently engaged in a “book burning” exercise and publications like Uncensored are generally not welcome as we question the current narrative a little too much. For the same reason, many book and magazine retailers won’t stock the mag. We do promotions and special subscription deals from time to time, so keep watching for them. Best way to get the magazine is via subscription, or we have a map of retailers who aren’t afraid to stock the mag!
