After the February 2021 arrival of the Phizer vaccine in New Zealand was announced on the news, did you notice the Covid warnings and announcements were ratcheted up on the radio and TV, even though there were no cases of community transmission? We noticed, and wondered if there would be increased Covid testing so cases could be found to drive vaccine demand.

It’s cynical I know, but just look at the timing. On Feb 14th eight community cases were found linked to Papatoetoe High, a South Auckland High School. This was right on time for the first batch of the Phizer vaccine which arrived the next day on Feb 15th 2021.
But it can’t be proven, it may have been just bad luck on Valentine’s Day.
What bugs me is the mission creep. With plans to vaccinate the whole country came a new rule: mandatory face masks on public transport for the whole of NZ. Ardern said she wants to make face masks “part of normal life”.
Really? She wants us all jabbed and wearing masks. This is from a person who twice last year flouted her own rules about masks and social distancing.
Actions speak louder than words
Here’s Adern’s actions in 2020, at the height of the so-called pandemic. On two occasions, three months apart, she did not wear a mask or practise social distancing. The first time she breached level two rules was during a long weekend in Hawke’s Bay in June 2020.
“The Prime Minister and director general of health have spoken out on accusations of hypocrisy over social distancing even as police refuse to say whether the pair will be warned over breaching level 2 rules.” Source NZ Herald, 3 June 2020: Covid 19: Ardern and Bloomfield speak on photographs showing breach of social distancing rules:
Three months later she flouted the rules again, while campaigning in Palmerston North in September 2020.
Kate Hawkesby: Why isn’t the PM social distancing? “Her large group selfie on the streets of Palmerston North the other day, crowded in a bunch of not at all socially distant fans, smacked of hypocrisy. One rule for us, one for her.”
Newshub 21st Sept 2020, “Duncan Garner says Ardern needs to ‘take responsibility’ for photo breaking social distancing rules: “Many New Zealanders have done things hard over this time; they’ve lost jobs, lost people – because we’ve been told to stick to the rules. People have had the police visit them to break up groups – yet, the PM can just easily get away with this.” Garner questioned whether there was “one rule for us as citizens of the 5 million, but something else for the Prime Minister?”
The law for facemasks
The Ministry of Health have announced from Tuesday 23 February the whole of New Zealand is at Alert Level 1. At Alert Level 1, face masks or coverings are legally required to be worn: on all public transport, including on long-distance bus and train journeys and most ferries; on domestic flights throughout New Zealand. This is at odds with the legislation: COVID-19 Public Health Response (Alert Level Requirements) Order (No 3) 2021, Reprint as at 22 February 2021 which states that passengers on ferry and domestic flights and small passenger service vehicle and school buses are exempt. However, there is a warning that some amendments have not yet been incorporated, so I’ll keep an eye on that.
How safe are masks on long-distance bus and train journeys?
There are harmful effects of rebreathing Carbon Dioxide (CO2). Several studies have indeed found significant problems with wearing masks. This can vary from headaches, to increased airway resistance, carbon dioxide accumulation, to hypoxia, all the way to serious life-threatening complications. Covid-19: These doctors are saying face masks may do more harm than good.
If it’s dangerous to wear a mask for hours, we need to challenge the government for their hypocrisy and unreasonable rules.
Resistance can work. BERLIN (AFP) — The German city of Dusseldorf was forced Monday to lift an order for residents to wear masks against the coronavirus, after a citizen successfully sued against the blanket rule. Source: Courthouse News Service: Court Tears Up Mask Rule in Germany’s Dusseldorf.
Finally, we’ve been told by the experts that masks don’t work.
Here’s Dr. Fauci and New Zealand’s head of Covid Dr. Bloomfield last year in 2020, saying it in their own words. So it’s just for a placebo. If masks don’t work, why are we being coerced into wearing them?https://www.youtube.com/embed/ctTEHnRZVsQ?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en&autohide=2&wmode=transparent

What is this really about?

Martin comments: Yes, this masking and Social Distancing has been a bee in my bonnet since Day One. There exists documented evidence of Social Distancing as a long-term goal of the UN going back decades and has been depicted in at least one dystopian sci-fi thriller. Nothing to do with disease control and everything to do with de-culturalisation and dehumanising.
Hot on the heels of this is de-gendering the language. It’s coming very soon.
We intend to make psychopaths part of normal death. 🙂
I hope that’s not a personal mission statement Monokuihi 😉
Do minion units have been used in various places around the world, including Australia and even in NZ. It would be interesting to see just to what extent they have been used and in what elections.
“Do minion units” ?
Dominion Units?
Not sure what that means but I’ll look it up..wait…Dominion Servers.
I have a feeling the NZ elections were subjected to “interference” as the “accidental” deaths of two Chinese dissidents on the way to parleiment with a petition would suggest.
Part of Ardern’s success in the last election was due to the fragmenting of the opposition eroding the National Party support. That in itself likely the result of external influences.
