Latest from the Daily Wire with interesting comment from our correspondent G Squared below. Is Trump lurking behind the curtain of the Twitter takeover attempt?

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal tried to calm the company’s employees during an emergency all-hands meeting today as they panicked over the possibility that Elon Musk will buy the company outright.
Agrawal reportedly told nervous employees that Musk could not change the company’s culture because “no one man can change that.” While he is legally limited to what he can disclose about the situation, it is an interesting choice of words as it appears to leave open the possibility that Musk really may takeover the company and turn it private.
One Twitter employee tried to claim what Musk was doing by trying to buy the company for far above market value was like a “hostage situation.”
“I don’t believe we are being held hostage,” Agrawal said to employees.
“This provides all of us with this moment where we feel distracted, where we feel a loss of control,” Agrawal said. “I am personally going to spend my time focusing on things I can control, and I believe it will matter.”

G Squared comments:

Musk is currently playing down the share price of Twitter. He now has 9.5% up from 9.2%. The next jump will take him to 14.9%.
While publishing the obvious about the company, and not taking a board seat, he has more control of the management and narrative. The price leap will occur; allowing the sell back, when he announces Trump to sit on the board.
The price moves down, as ignorant stakeholders bail, each time Musk releases the obvious, as a badly run company, pumping some numbers of followings while depressing others; banning big followings while inventing others; a CEO with a long and absurd non-commercial agenda, of attempting to lead ideological order, instead of overseeing economic realities; motions that the realities of Free Speech are not as they interpret it as their version by censorship and propaganda.
As Ichan sacked 12 floors of useless ACF; Musk views emptying whole buildings of parasitic Twitterists.
