It seems that the mask mandate has returned in China as the epidemic shows no signs of going away. Also, has the CCP abandoned its plan to attack Taiwan? Today, let’s talk about these two issues.
Martin comments: I agree about Taiwan. CCP counter-intelligence is no doubt spreading a lot of disinformation. As far as the Chinese economy goes, well, the CCP normally prefers asymmetric warfare to direct military conflict, but a cornered animal will bare its teeth and claws. Perhaps on its own a China with a depressed economy and a military power inferior to the US might be a bad idea, but Russia and CCP joining forces is a different matter.
