The screening of Endgame at the Southern Cross Garden Bar, on
Abel Smith Street in Wellington last night was a success, with about 60 people attending. This is a great number for this time of year.
As usual there was a wide variety of people in the audience, young and old. We have had so much success with this project this year that the Southern Cross has convinced us to screen two films a month from next February onwards. This means we can get loads of information out into the public arena.
We also have doubled the sound and picture quality of these screenings by directly connecting a laptop to the projecter and playing the sound through a $4000 PA system. Last night was the first time we did this and the quality of the presentation was stunning.
We will be screening ‘Endgame’ again next year for those who couldn’t make it last night. I will keep you posted on the dates.
Best wishes to everyone and thanks for your support, Jeremy
