Charlotte Iserbyt Warns About Regionalism

“THE LAST NAIL OF SO-CALLED SCHOOL REFORM is being struck in the coffin of traditional American education which made our nation the envy of the Free World and which produced famous scientists, engineers, mathematicians, writers, artists, musicians, doctors, etc.

The reform is not new. It started in the early 1900s when John D. Rockefeller, Jr.’s Director of Charity for the Rockefeller Foundation, Frederick T. Gates, set up the Southern Education Board. In 1913 the organization was incorporated into the General Education Board. These boards set in motion ‘the deliberate dumbing down of America’. In Frederick T. Gates’ ‘The Country School of Tomorrow’ Occasional Papers No. 1 (General Education Board, New York, 1913) was a section entitled ‘A Vision of the Remedy’ in which he wrote:

‘Is there aught a remedy for this neglect of rural life? Let us, at least, yield ourselves to the gratifications of a beautiful dream that there is. In our dream, we have limitless resources, and the people yield themselves with perfect docility to our moulding hand. The present educational conventions fade from our minds; and unhampered by tradition, we work our own good will upon a grateful and responsive rural folk. We shall not try to make these people or any of their children into philosophers or men of learning or of science. We are not to raise up from among them authors, orators, poets, or men of letters. We shall not search for embryo great artists, painters, musicians. Nor will we cherish even the humbler ambition to raise up from among them lawyers, doctors, preachers, politicians, statesmen, of whom we now have ample supply.’

The above quote sounds like something from one of the public/private school-to-work/tax-exempt foundation partnerships involved in the Reinventing Schools Coalition agenda, as well as other innocuous sounding current-day initiatives that are being implemented across the nation.”  Charlotte Thomson Iserbyt – December 8, 2010 –

“The merger between the United States and Communist China is disturbing, especially since it will continue and reinforce the use in our schools of the Pavlov method (imported from Soviet Union) aka Direct Instruction, Mastery Learning, Outcomes/Performance/Results-based Education. This method is necessary for global work force training (school-to-work) and brainwashing for a politically correct society. It has been used successfully in China since the revolution in 1948. Go to 3D website for info on ‘Brainwashing in Red China’ by Edward Hunter, pp. 209 and 450, and in regard to Hunter’s identification of materials/methods being used in Montgomery County Schools, Maryland, in the late sixties, as ‘Russian and Chinese Communist brainwashing’.

U.S. Secretary of Education Arne Duncan has (with U.K. Prime Minister Gordon Brown) recently called for implementation of lifelong ‘community education’ referred to in the early seventies by a community educator as ‘the Chinese communist system’. The Community Oriented Policing System (COPS) in Bath and Brunswick, Maine calls for police to give medals to citizens doing good deeds (good deeds to be determined by the police.)

We are in big trouble when the United States is ‘educationally’ in bed with Russia and China, countries which rely on this method to ‘train’ and ‘brainwash’ their citizens and students. The United States has also implemented the method under the labels ‘direct instruction, mastery learning, and OBE’, but, unfortunately, most Americans, even conservative American education researchers, do not understand that the ‘direct instruction’ method is based on Pavlovian/Skinnerian operant conditioning, so there has been no effort made to remove this rat training method from the repertoire of teacher training. Please go to “”Revolution in Education…Soviet Style,” Part I, and Back to Basics Reform or OBE Skinnerian International Curriculum, 1985, pdf …”

“For the history of regional governance and subversion in the United States and abroad the reader can go to, a FREE website, which provides scanned primary research, and click on researcher/writer D. Niwa’s ‘hot-off-the-press’ The Emerging North American Union (NAU), which includes a most useful Timeline (1921-2006); Maureen Heaton’s The Impossible Dream; and The Don Bell Reports. This website also makes available to the public, for the first time, the 4000-page transcript of the 1953 Reece and Cox Congressional Committee hearings related to the investigation of the subversive activities of the tax-exempt foundations, for which Norman Dodd served as Research Director. During a meeting in New York City in 1953 Dodd was told by Rowan Gaither, the President of the Ford Foundation, that the White House instructed the foundations ‘to use their grant-making power to so alter life in the United States that we can be comfortably merged with the Soviet Union.’ The foundations, especially Carnegie, Rockefeller, and Ford, concerned that the American people, to whom they owed their tax exemption, would have access to the record of these hearings, scooped up all available copies immediately after the hearings were abruptly terminated in 1954. President Eisenhower, carrying out the above treasonous directive to the foundations, signed the first agreements with the Soviet Union in 1958 at the peak of the Cold War. (Had those hearings NOT been terminated, it is unlikely Americans would be looking at the demise of their nation under the NAU, or that the virtual merger of Russia’s and the United States’ basic political, economic, cultural, educational, and law enforcement systems would have taken place over the past 48 years.)”

“Regional Governance emanates from the United Nations, which was formed in 1945 by a majority of communists, and it is essential for United States participation in the world government (international redistribution of wealth socialist state) being implemented right now under our very noses. Example: European Union, NAFTA, GATT, and CAFTA…

In ‘The Globalists, The Power Elite Exposed’, page 304, Denis L. Cuddy, Ph.D, says ‘Most members of the European Union are already members of The Socialist International, and if other nations around the world can be moved toward socialism and regional economic arrangements, then these regional groupings can be more easily merged into a world socialistic government. This scenario is quite similar to the three-stage plan outlined by Stalin at the 1936 Communist International. At that meeting, the official program proclaimed: ‘Dictatorship can be established only by a victory of socialism in different countries or groups of countries,’ after which there would be federal unions of the various groupings of these socialist countries, and the third stage would be an amalgamation of these regional federal unions into a world union of socialist nations.”
