Physiological differences between species mean that data from
experiments is not applicable to humans, as evidenced by the thousands
of drugs that have proved dangerous, even lethally so, after testing
as safe on animals, egs. thalidomide, diethylstilbstrol, clioquinol,
vioxx, TGN.
Animals are inflicted with artificially-induced disease which is very
different from spontaneously- arising disease in humans due to stress,
pollution, pesticides and poor meat, eggs and dairy based diets which
cause heart disease, stroke, diabetes, arthritis and cancer.
