Something is very wrong with the ‘Big Picture’. When tens of trillions of dollars; an unimaginable sum for most, sits dormant in tax havens, we’ve got a huge problem. What’s the solution?

Corporate corruption. Greed. Like the dragons of legend, the Elites sit on vast hoards of treasure. Meanwhile, millions literally starve to death. What do we do about this gross injustice? Revolution! The workers should rise up and overthrow the fat-cat elitists. take back the money and tip the balance of power. The Robin Hood solution. Take from the rich and give to the poor.
It’s called Socialism. It’s on the rise like never before, and it is a revolution, not with blazing torches and pitchforks, but revolution by stealth. It’s happening right now, and it has massive appeal to an idealistic young generation, who, as always, want to change the world.
Trouble is, Socialism has failed wherever it has been tried. Considering Orthodox Marxism claims it’s methodology to be science based, and the benchmark of scientific success is repeatability, then Marxist Socialism has confirmed it’s own failure!
(I’m not talking about Third Way or Social Democracy here, I’m talking full blown revolutionary Marxist Socialism). Don’t tell me about Denmark, that’s not Socialism at work; it’s a super-taxated Welfare State. Socialism has failed catastrophically and tragically. Proponents of the 2030 agenda and the “New Left” say that “it wasn’t done right: This time we’ll get it right”. My reply is: “Let’s hope you don’t get it right. Let’s pray you don’t get it right”. Because if Socialism ever succeeds, it’s former failures will be eclipsed by the horror of it’s success. Why?
Socialism works on the principal that we are all the same. It has failed to work because we aren’t all the same. The terrifying solution to making Socialism work, therefore, is to make us become “all the same”. Generic, one-size-fits-all humans. This isn’t science fiction guys: It is happening right now, in plain sight, the old religions and cultural identities quickly merging. Not just religions either. All the sexual minorities, via the Rainbow Community, are being shepherded together. Shortly these minorities will find their separate identities erased as they gather together under one banner. And that banner, with it’s alluring rainbow colours, is being heavily promoted throughout society. It goes further.
We are being told, in the face of what both science and the evidence of our own daily experience tell us, that there is no biological gender difference. No such thing as male or female. But, you can choose to be one or other, or even both. Eventually all this “inclusivity” will result in an all-inclusive pronoun. Probably “Comrade”. We are also being told that In order for all this “sameness” to work, we must live sustainably; a euphemism for learning to live without possessions or unnecessary luxuries. (We wouldn’t have gone along with this if it weren’t for the perceived threat of imminent self-destruction via human-induced climate change: At bet an exaggeration, at worst an outright lie). We are told we must live, As Marx has it, “each according their needs”.
Well, one doesn’t “need” very much at all to survive, does one? Basic meals, water, adequate clothing, a bed and a means of getting to work and back. “Please sir, may I have some more?” Nope, sorry, you may want more, but you don’t need it. One earns the basics of life by working for them, according to one’s abilities. One gets paid for meeting a quota, get penalized for failing to do so, and get nothing for exceeding it except perhaps the animosity of one’s coworkers when your excessive output becomes the new standard.
Sounds great so far, no? Welcome to the post-2030 age: Instead of one third of the planet living in poverty with some hope of salvation, now the whole world lives in poverty with all hope extinguished. A race of robotized, sexless, culture-less workers without ambition or purpose beyond daily survival and mindless obedience to the State. What happened to all those trillions of dollars that were “liberated”? Where is all the wealth? Oh, it got distributed evenly alright. It went towards “saving the planet” for y’all. The clean energy initiatives cost many, many billions of dollars to implement, and we averted the 2030 “point of runaway global warming” (which was never going to happen anyhow). So get back to work and enjoy the benefits of those freed up trillions, comrade!
Skeptics of Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s promise of a Green New Deal were worried that the plan would be a Trojan horse for unrealistic and ruinously expensive economic proposals that have little to do with stopping climate change. The unveiling of the plan gives them more reason for worry. Ocasio-Cortez’s Green New Deal appears to take every big spending idea that has emerged on the political left in recent years and combine them into one large package deal, with little notion of how to pay for them all.

This all going to work so well that we need mass surveillance and a Police State infrastructure in place to keep us all obedient and “safe”. Mustn’t grumble; eyes and ears are everywhere. Not forgetting government censorship of all media so our minds can’t be poisoned by free speech and independent thought.
So what’s the alternative?
What’s wrong with the system we’ve got? What’s wrong with the Free Market AKA Capitalism? Well, plenty obviously. But for all it’s faults, it does essentially work. And it works because humans, natural humans, male and female and of a wondrous variety of races, creeds and cultures, are all different. Each and every one of the 7.7 Billion people on this planet are unique, and that is something to be embraced and celebrated, not destroyed!
So because we are all different, we each have different talents and abilities. We each have a vocation; a ‘calling’ in life. Some become doctors, others artists, or engineers. yes, some struggle to make ends meet and take whatever menial job they can get, and no life isn’t always fair and both chance and circumstance play their part, but where there is the will to better oneself, the opportunity is there. We can capitalize on our unique skillsets. We all the ability to learn and grow. And some, of course, have the combination of ambition and ability to become very wealthy. These wealthy individuals usually run successful businesses and employ a large number of workers, very few of whom are ever satisfied with their paltry share of the profits. This is partly just human nature, but in this dissatisfaction the seeds of Socialism grow. “We want more!” say the workers unions. “We have no more to give” retort the Corporate Shareholders. So what about those hoarded trillions of dollars in the Cayman Islands? Where’s “our” share of that booty?
Tax havens are a vitally important part of the global infrastructure of corruption and criminality – see ‘Giant Leak of Offshore Financial Records Exposes Global Array of Crime and Corruption’ – that enables privileged individuals and their organizations to legally and illegally steal money from the rest of us, particularly those in developing countries, and to have the services of a vast network of accountants, bankers, lawyers and politicians (often from captured legislatures) to help them do it, and to ensure that they get away with it.

The reason that this dragon’s hoard exists at all is because of the taxman. The wealthier one gets, the bigger the cut the government takes. While the tax brackets vary from country to country, the highest tax brackets can take a whopping chunk from the gross profit. So, if you were a self-made billionaire who worked hard for your money, wouldn’t you employ clever accountants to find creative ways to hide your stash from the government? Now you have another problem. How to utilize any of that money without that taxman getting his sticky mits on it? How ironic that the governments pushing for Socialist implementation are the ones who created this problem in the first place!
The problem with our current bracketed system is neatly illustrated here:
The net result of this hoarding is a whole lot of “dead” money and lot of fuel for the fires of Socialist sympathy, as well as cries of “corporate corruption” and accusations of greed. The Robin Hood approach does no good. It is essentially theft. How about the opposite approach? Surely, it is a basic human attribute to wish to better oneself and to share one’s success with those who helped us achieve it? Therefore let us capitalize on this attribute for the benefit of all.
Enter the dazzlingly simple and obvious solution. The Flat Tax Rate solution. That’s right: Regardless of how little or how much one makes, one gives the same percentage to the taxman. If the wealthy aren’t penalized, they have little reason to hide their money. The money stays in the system. The government gets their cut, the books look good, and believe it or not, the wealth really does start to trickle down.
No revolution, no generic, genderless robotized workers, less poverty and therefore less need for war. I’m not an idealist (unlike most of the current proponents of the Socialist solution), there is no fairy tale moment here. Because every human being is different, there will always be villains just as surely as there will be heroes (as one can see from the links, true Elite criminals do, and will continue regardless, to utilise tax havens) and there will always be those who attract wealth just as surely as those who squander their incomes (and the more you give the more they squander). But the simplest solution to the world’s financial woes, the Flat Tax Rate solution, offers the best step forwards to a fairer, more prosperous future.
