Here’s some Health Ministers who don’t exactly fit the picture!
by Martin Harris
While I’m not inclined to judge folk by their shape, size, or any other physical measure, the last time my youngsters went for a checkup, my daughter was judged by the nurse to be “underweight” and my eldest son “overweight”. This despite both being on the same healthy diet, both physically active, and both having had the same physical attributes (one stocky, the other slender) their entire lives. The issue was that they “Didn’t fit the ideal” according to their charts. Charts which seem to assume everyone ought to fit a certain template in order to be “healthy”.
So it is with some glee that I highlight three government health representatives who “fall outside the ideal” on their own wretched charts.

As censorship heats up and free thought becomes an increasingly rare commodity, we appeal to our readers to support our efforts to reach people with information now being censored elsewhere. In the last few years, Uncensored has itself been censored, removed from the shelves of two of our biggest NZ retailers – Countdown Supermarkets and Whitcoulls Bookstores – accounting for 74% of our total NZ sales.
