Omicron, Fearmongering and Bloody Liars.

I’ve been watching the emerging data (actual data) on the Omicron variant since it emerged in SA. Everything points it being very similar to the Common Cold. I listened to NZ Health Minister Hipkins on the radio today (Where was Ardern? Hiding while Hipkins gets to dish out the bad news?) and while he repeatedly spoke about Omicron being more contagious than Delta, not a mention of the GREAT NEWS, that Omicron is relatively mild and is displacing Delta.

There was also plenty of talk of impending lockdowns…I mean Red Lights, whatever. And a torrent of outrage from talkback callers on the radio. No support. No wonder Ardern chose to decline attendance at the podium. She and her minions are skating on thin ice; we’ve had enough.

The MSM have been even more deceptive about the situation. It’s time to call out these lowlifes for what they are. A pack of bloody fearmongering liars.

Indeed, evidence from South Africa, where vaccination rates are low compared with Australia, gives reason to hope Omicron may end up being the beginning of the end of the pandemic as the virus becomes endemic, like influenza.

And how many people have actually died as a DIRECT result of Omicron?

A man in Texas has been recorded as deceased “linked” to Omicron. So, NOT DIRECT. Note that the linked article makes a song-and-dance about the guy’s unvaccinated status but conflates the man’s “severe risk of complications” in order to disguise the indirect cause of demise.

Earlier in December, Britain reported the first publicly confirmed death globally from Omicron. Twelve people in Britain have now died with the variant, and 104 are currently in hospital with it. WITH the variant not OF the variant.

So, please feel free to correct me, but that adds up to ZERO deaths directly caused by Omicron. NONE. Amid all the many thousands of infections in a virus that is spreading rapidly, no one has died of it to the best of my knowledge at the time of writing.

Now, shall we start counting deaths from the mRNA jabs..?? Yeah, I’ll take my chances with the Omicron thanks.
