The job of the police is to “protect and serve” the people. You remember; the ones who pay their wages. These police obeyed the government. Not the people’s will. Not the LAW. The government. That is totalitarianism. We won’t forget it. Those who forget their past are doomed to repeat it. MH
(Equally applicable to the NZ Police behaviour at the Parliament protests too BTW.)
Sky News host Rita Panahi says Victoria Police wants Australians to “forget” about recent history after two years of “overreach and selective policing”.
“The Victoria Police hierarchy want to rebuild their brand,” she said.
“Victoria Police command wants you to forget about what they’ve been up to for the past couple of years, you know harassing old women on park benches, arresting pregnant women in their kitchens for Facebook posts, enforcing playground bans on children and their brutal response to anti-lockdown protesters.
“Yes, please forget all that and remember they are on our side.”
Ms Panahi said Victoria Police’s public image was “badly damaged” and as long as the likes of Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius hold key positions, who she compared to Chief Wiggum, that would not change.
“Police command needs a cleanout starting with Assistant Commissioner Luke Cornelius,” she said.
One observer posted a photo/video shoot during the very first time of police violence in Wellington towards protesters, that the cop(s) did not lay hands on (a) gang member (s) when standing in line next to each other.
There is a directive from government to go easy on gangs. Ardern hates Destiny Church (Freedoms and Rights Coalition, Man Up etc.) because they are leading young men away from violent gang culture into a family friendly form of gang brotherhood without drugs and violence. Men of honour and commitment who protect and respect their families.
Remember that one of the openly acknowledged goals of Socialism is to destroy the traditional nuclear family. In order to do this, the traditional “man of the house” must be portrayed as a violent and dominating oppressor, a bad guy. Gangs help to enhance this stereotype.
Now do you see why Ardern and her Woke Police commissioner want to protect gangs?
Hm, but why did the protests in Wellington went violent after the TFRC (?) left. According to some observers & commentators? Or was it initialy the presence of the gangs, who left, or got paid to leave? There has also never been given an explanation why the letter/application for discussion of resolving the prostest/mandate by the Te Whare Ariki o Runga Maori Government had been ignored & the action of the police/government violently abused the situation:
Excerpt:
1. On 28 February 2022, at 11.29 am the Police negotiating team contacted the Leader of the Maori Government asking for assistance to resolve the situation in Wellington.
2. On 1 March 2022 the Maori Government engaged in good faith discussion with representatives of the protest in Wellington and members of the NZ Police negotiation team.
3. Agreement was made to hold a hui over the weekend 4/5/6 March 2022 whereby the 2 sides could discuss reasonable, practicable steps to achieve a peaceable resolution…
Shame, shame, shame. Coming from a country whose first Police force was a dozen or so of the best behaved convicts (at least in N.S.W anyway), and further down the track had to ditch around 3/4 of the DEA Police Force due to widespread corruption (1970’s), I’m not surprised these bunch of uniformed truncheons are calling for some ‘time out’ after their disastrous displays of ‘keeping the peace’.
Dean says: Does “reap what you sow” sound appropriate lads?
Ever seen the Aussie cult movie classic Mad Max, Dean? Wasn’t the premise of that movie that society had collapsed to the point where the only difference between the cops and the gangs was the uniform they wore? Yet another science fiction predictive to add to the list!
