I’d Like To Point Something Out…

New Zealand now has allegedly surpassed a million Covid cases since the pandemic began. However unofficially it could be three or four times that figure. Think about that. This is a country of 5 million people. 96% vaccinated! So where’s the herd immunity narrative gone?

As of January 2022, we only had a tally of 15 thousand or so cases since the plandemic began. You may recall that the pre-vaccine lockdown ended with no active cases at all and a very small case tally.

Now, one of the experts prattling on about the cases potentially being a lot higher is (yawn) Michael Baker. In a country that has more epidemiologists per head of population than anywhere else in the world, why is it that Baker is the only one we ever hear from? Something to do with his strident mask-and-vax pushing? His alarmist rhetoric? His willingness to stick his mush in front of a TV camera on a regular basis?

Here’s another interesting statistic. The country is, according to official figures, 96% mRNA vaccinated.

While there are various opinions on exactly what percentage of the population should be vaxxed in order to achieve the alleged “herd immunity”, one source I consulted claims:

“Experts estimate that herd immunity would require around 80-90% of the population to have COVID-19 immunity, either through prior infection or vaccination. That’s why experts are encouraging the public to get the COVID-19 vaccine.“

And supposedly, the 10 to 20 percent unvaxxed are “protected” by the herd.

Now, I have to point something out that ought to be pretty obvious. The same small group of “experts” that aggressively and persistently pushed vaccines are the very same geniuses who are shouting from the rooftops that one fifth of the country’s population have now been infected, and it might be as high as three or four fifths.

Working as I do in a fairly large manufacturing facility and seeing how many have been out of action with Covid lately, I can easily believe that half the population of NZ at a conservative estimate have had Covid (mostly recently and of the Omicron variant). I’d agree with the “experts” that it could well be higher.

I also have to point out that the great majority of these cases are, rather obviously, from vaccinated individuals. It has been my observation that I would be hard pushed to think of any unvaccinated persons in my workplace or social sphere who have, or have had, Covid. That would be because unvaccinated folk are in the minority and are generally keen on natural health.

Back in February, a New Zealand herald article claimed:

“…what makes Omicron worse than Delta for unvaccinated New Zealanders is that almost all of them will be infected in the next few months….Omicron will be more harmful than Delta would have been for the unvaccinated New Zealand population…” SOURCE

Well, its now well into May. I and every one of the unvaccinated holdouts I know are still waiting…while we watch our vaxxed and boosted mates dropping like flies. Both The Herald and their source, the fearmonger/Professor Rod Jackson, have very much egg on their faces. A read of the full article provides a number of clangers such as the open admission that “herd immunity…wasn’t possible” (oops) and that “Infection has provided some immunity to the many hundreds of millions, who were fortunate to survive,..” The same article provides some misleading data about both the vaccine and the virus.

Going back to December 2021, this same Rod Jackson claimed; “High levels of vaccination are the only safe and effective way to achieve high levels of immunity”. So here we are, 6 months later, and where are these high levels of immunity? They don’t exist. No vaccinated person is immune to Omicron.

Let’s examine the claimed purpose of vaccination:

“Prevent us from becoming infected”?…”Provide ongoing immunity?”…Provide a protective shield around people who are unable to get vaccinated”? I would say the mRNA jab has failed utterly in those respects.

The same report, coming from the Catholic Church no less, supported the draconian mandates on grounds of “the common good’. Hang your heads in shame, Catholic hierarchy of New Zealand.

I would also have to point out that there have been an inordinate number of vaccinated individuals who have suffered some kind of adverse reaction, or ongoing health issues, as a result of the vaccine itself. This is purely based on observation, as you can imagine, honest or realistic figures on adverse reactions are hard to come by.

Now, the government, the media, and their pet experts, are all still hollering at us to “get vaccinated” or “get boosted”. Apparently it protects us all. Just days ago I had to see my GP about matters relating to a family member, and got the vax propaganda talk. I declined to engage in discussion with my GP about this as it was both irrelevant to the purpose of the visit and pointless because he’s just goin to stick to his narrative, regardless of what facts I throw at him.

What the emerging picture shows us is that there is NO herd immunity.

According to the NZ Ministry of Health:

• a person is significantly less likely to be severely sick, hospitalised or die from Omicron if vaccinated, especially following the third (booster) dose
• Real life evidence highlights in those countries with high vaccination rates (~95%) that this does provide some population immunity on top of individual immunity
• While vaccination provides less protection against contracting and transmitting the Omicron variant compared with earlier variants, it still provides some protection, especially after the third (booster) dose.  

“Health advice, based on the evidence we have, is that the Omicron variant can still be contracted and transmitted by vaccinated people…”

There’s some pretty vague wording right there. Not a lot of facts and figures. “some population immunity? really? With anything from a fifth of the population upwards to possibly 60% to 80%. Considering the rapid waning of vaccine efficacy it shouldn’t come as any surprise, especially since the efficacy at full strength, against Omicron, is a rather pathetic 65% according the NZ Ministry Of Health.

UK data has much more instructive information:

“After 20 weeks, two doses of either mRNA vaccine (Pfizer or Moderna) reduced the risk of infection with Omicron by only around 10%.
 By the same point in time, two doses of AstraZeneca essentially provide no protection against infection with Omicron.”

Adding a third “booster” shot?

“Protection against symptomatic disease increases… Vaccine effectiveness is 65–75% 2–4 weeks after the booster, reducing to 45–50%, 10 weeks after the booster.”

Hold on right there, this source compares 10 weeks to 20 weeks. Somewhat misleading. What would the booster protection be after 20 weeks? Practically nothing one would suspect.

Furthermore, both sources state that vaccinated individuals can be asymptomatic carriers, spreading the virus around without knowing it. That’s not immunity, it’s masking.

Since variants of Omicron are likely to be around practically forever, it’s a question of how many boosters will you take before you get fed up of taking boosters very couple of months. And still getting Covid, plus the likelihood of adverse reactions from the jab AND ongoing health issues?

Since booster protection fades after a few months, will another booster be needed? Currently, experts from the FDA and CDC in the US are saying no. Plus, reports from Israel have shown that a fourth dose of Pfizer’s vaccine hasn’t provided enough protection against Omicron.

Vaccinated or not, millions will, and have been, infected. I say let’s stop obsessing over it and get on with our lives. Get vaxxed if that’s your thing, and good luck to you. But don’t expect to be immune from Covid as a result, and I won’t be thanking you for the “herd immunity” you’re supposedly providing: It just ain’t there. Even the propaganda spewing experts admit this.
