Halifax Bank tells customers “If you don’t like our Woke virtue signalling, close your account and go away”. And guess what? That’s exactly what happened, as Australia’s Sky News reports.

Halifax bank an example of ‘corporate virtue-signalling gone wrong’
Halifax Bank is an example of “corporate virtue-signalling gone wrong” after telling customers to close their accounts if they disagree with the company’s values, says Sky News host Rita Panahi. The company posted a photo on Twitter of one of its badges including an employee’s pronouns. The bank stated if people disagree with the company’s values they are “welcome” to close their accounts. “That’s a brave new way of doing business – telling your customers to take a hike if they don’t embrace your divisive politicking,” Ms Panahi said.

Martin comments: We’re used to featuring examples of corrupt corporations, especially the banksters, hogging money and fleecing their customers. But telling their customers to close their accounts and go elsewhere? That’s a whole new level of useful idiocy!

As censorship heats up and free thought becomes an increasingly rare commodity, we appeal to our readers to support our efforts to reach people with information now being censored elsewhere. In the last few years, Uncensored has itself been censored, removed from the shelves of two of our biggest NZ retailers – Countdown Supermarkets and Whitcoulls Bookstores – accounting for 74% of our total NZ sales.
