The Ardern and Trudeau Show

As I write this I wonder if there is a chance Jacinda Ardern will be publicly shamed at the United Nations General Assembly for her attacks on our democracy.

After the Queen’s funeral Ardern flew to the United States for the high-powered ‘meet and greet’ and will give New Zealand’s national statement this Saturday morning.

Ironically she hitched a ride over to the States with her good friend and fellow dictator, the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau.

Now you would think she and Trudeau while sitting in his private jet would be a bit nervous about some of the world leaders attending, given the shellacking the Canadian received in January this year. 

Many of you may not be aware, because it was not covered by mainstream media, but at another high-powered talk fest in Brussels, six Members of the European parliament (MEPs) and an Irish senator openly denounced Trudeau.

They labelled him a “dictator”, a “disgrace” and someone who “tramples on democratic rights” because of his harsh measures during the pandemic and against those at the Freedom convoy.

Sound familiar?

Short videos of those openly chastising Trudeau have been compiled by Canadian conservative news and opinion website The Counter Signal.

Romanian MEP Cristian Terhes boycotted Trudeau’s speech but had earlier written, “He’s exactly like a tyrant, like a dictator. He’s like Ceausescu in Romania. If you raise doubts about the vaccines, you’re outcasted.”

Croatian MEP Mislav Kolakusic was the first to openly denounce Trudeau in front of the European Parliament, while Trudeau was sitting directly behind him.

“Canada, once a symbol of the modern world, has become a symbol of civil rights violations under your quasi-liberal boot. We watched how you trample women with horses, how you block the bank accounts of single parents so that they can’t even pay their children’s education and medicine, that they can’t pay utilities, mortgages for their homes.”

German MEP Christine Anderson also openly condemned Trudeau, telling him he is not welcome in the European Parliament.

Fellow German MEP Bernhard Zimniok said Trudeau did not deserve to speak.

“[The EU] invitation to Canadian PM Justin Trudeau,” he said, “is an invitation to someone who’s been trampling on democratic rights, who’s been cracking down on people protested against disproportionate corona measures.”

Finnish MEP Laura Huhtasaari asked if the Commission or the High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy would condemn the measures used by Canada against peaceful protest in the Canadian convoy demonstration. 

French MEP Virginie Joron wore a Freedom Convoy T-shirt, complete with a Canadian flag and backed the Canadian people over Trudeau.

Of course the Canadian mainstream media reported things a bit differently.

Germany, Croatia, France and Romania are all represented at the United Nations General Assembly.

Interestingly, those who criticise the loudest are from nations who still have in living memory the effects of the disastrous anti-democratic policies they recognised from Trudeau and Ardern.

Fortunately for Ardern, she may have an ally in former New Zealand Prime Minister Helen Clark, who is co-chairing the UN event.

Maybe in a belated attempt to look good, Ardern dropped mask-wearing and mandates shortly before her international appearance.

Fingers crossed someone has a real dig and publicly humiliates her… and we all get to hear about it.

Martin comments: How about the fact Ardern and her partner Clarke are travelling separately on private jets to the Climate Hypocrite’s Assembly? Trouble is no one is likely to criticize because the attendees are all hypocrites who spew hot air while lecturing “the little people” about their carbon footprint.
