A week ago, China announced that they will build a mass driver on the Moon, capable of sending hundreds of tons of valuable resources to Earth. They failed to mention that this mass driver could also deliver nuclear sized strikes to any point on our planet; strikes that would be practically impossible to stop.
Martin comments: Always said the return to the moon would be all about mining for HE3 to fuel nuclear fusion. But there’s always a “power and control” element isn’t there? Question is, how much of this is bluffery and how much real?
