Depopulation 2025: Where did China’s people go?

Depopulation has been a theme of the 2025 scenario ever since military statistics resource Deagel started predicting massive decreases on a page of their site that got removed without explanation last year. While it’s no secret that China’s population has been steadily decreasing and is projected to continue doing so, there is some evidence that things are far more drastic than they wish us to think.

China China's depopulation

Over the past few months, videos and postings online claim to show a post-Covid China, especially Shanghai, with empty streets and shops and transport systems. The impression is given that the normally crowded and chaotic cities are almost deserted. These images are backed up by eyewitness comments claiming that friends and neighbors and co-workers have vanished without trace.

Did the Sars CoV-2 virus kill so many? Was it the draconian lockdowns that saw families sealed into their homes without access to basic supplies? Was it the enforced vaccinations? All of the above? Or is this all misinformation?

I’m aware of China’s “ghost cities”: Impressive looking constructions that are nothing more than empty shells of skyscrapers and shops and roads unsupported by infrastructure, built during China’s construction boom and often simply used as property investment without any hope of anyone ever living there. And perhaps some of the videos are showing such places?

Another counterclaim is that many of the videos are taken during public holidays when much of the population are at home or attending events.

Other sources claim we are being shown old clips during the lockdowns. But this can’t account for all of the reports.

Here’s a few reports to consider. Make of this what you will.
