Apocalypse, so far, appears to have been averted. But we’re half way through the year. Is the glass half full or half empty? According to a viral prediction, today could be the deciding day.

2025. The end of Kali Yuga according to certain Hindu sources. A heavily promoted and long-predicted World War Three. Alien invasions both simulated and real. And a mega-tsunami prophecy from Japan.
World War Three looked like a near-certainty. And as this author recently pointed out, there is even an online countdown that proved to be uncannily accurate, reaching zero-hour right around the time the Iran-Israel conflict flared up with US throwing in their weight.
However, it would appear the seemingly Teflon-coated President Trump saved the day. This guy seems to turn every situation to advantage. If anyone could stall or avert WW3, he’d be the man.
Some might say he inherited the fabled Tesla time-machine patents from his uncle, FBI agent and scientist John Trump. Project Looking Glass springs to mind: An alleged device that looks into potential futures. Or perhaps a team of gifted remote viewers. Or the legendary Chronovisor.
Perhaps no nuts-and-bolts time device is involved and Trump is simply an astute and talented political player. Or perhaps he has some foresight. Some predictive ability that might be considered paranormal?
Which leads to our next “2025 doomsday” panic.
As I write this, it’s 5 July.
Some years ago a Japanese Manga artist with a Simpsons-esque ability to incorporate forthcoming real-world events into her graphic novels, marked this day as the day of a truly colossal earthquake and mega-tsunami that would alter the geography of the Pacific Region forever.
This predictive story might have sunk into obscurity had a shrewd publisher not recently re-released it. One does not have to be psychic to predict that, in this time of rampant social media, paranoia and panic has ensued. As of today, even Time is among the mainstream sources hyping up the story.
here’s a sample article from India.com that sets the tone:
Massive earthquake, deadly virus, death of a…: List of predictions by Ryo Tatsuki, Japan’s Baba Vanga, third one will surprise you…
Japanese Baba Vanga has predicted that a massive earthquake and tsunami prediction would hit Japan on July 5, 2025, causing a sense of panic in the country.
While Japan is obviously a highly seismically active nation, a recent cluster of quakes and a volcanic eruption have done nothing to ease fears. According to The Daily Mail:
A volcano erupted in Japan on Thursday as the country approaches the date of a ‘mega disaster’ forecast by a ‘prophet’ decades ago.
The huge blast took place on Mount Shinmoedake at 2:01pm local time, sending a towering ash plume and making it one of the biggest eruptions on the mountain in recent years.
Japan’s Meteorological Agency is now bracing for falling volcanic rocks and pyroclastic flows within a near two mile radius of Mount Shinmoedake.
Authorities have also warned residents to stay inside as it prepares for the worst.
It comes as an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.5 was recorded off the coast of the Tokara island chain yesterday.
A major natural disaster was predicted by manga artist Ryo Tatsuki, who has been likened to Bulgarian prophet Baba Vanga.
In the book The Future I Saw, first released in 1999 and based on her ‘prophetic dreams’, she warned that disaster would struck on June 5, 2025.
After her prediction went viral on social media, there was a significant drop in flight bookings to the country.
Sitting here typing this piece, the author feels strangely detached from the whole thing. Perhaps I am suffering from Apocalypse fatigue. At 58, I’ve seen many ends-of-the-world come and go. The Cold War, 1999, 5/5/2000 (A planetary alignment) the Millennium Bug, 2012 (although it has been said that we shifted into an alternative reality or simulation thereof, resulting in some remembering things slightly differently, resulting in the Mandela Effect!).
But of all these doomsdays, 2025 seems like the most plausible.
We really did see unprecedented solar storms. The world came to the brink of global war, happening more or less according to predicted geopolitical events and timing. We’ve seen irrefutable evidence of massive depopulation. We’ve seen an upsurge in UFO/UAP activity, and now this scenario with Japan, resulting in the world as we know it ending (again) today.
It has been raining for several days here in Christchurch, which has seen its share of mini-Apocalypses. But now the sun is peeking out as the clouds are breaking.
Should I build a bunker or do some gardening?
Whatever will be, will be. Time to start digging.
