19 October 2008

Hello everyone, this is Jane

Hopefully many of you are wondering what is happening with Vince and
his arrest upon returning home from the states. He has been taken to
Mt. Eden. An application for bail has been made and was denied, even
though he has turned himself in by his own volition. Next, will be
his hearing of appeal on Tuesday 28th October.

I so appreciate the calls from some of you offering support. Vince’s
answer to how you can best support him is to phone Lockwood Smith and
put in your complaint. Lockwood Smith knows what to do, just needs
the numbers to put the pressure on him. Also, tonight there is a
talk back radio show on Radio Live from 10pm – 1am. To phone in call:
0800 723 465.

Tomorrow afternoon, there will be a demonstation outside of Mt. Eden
Prison from 3:30 – 5:00. If you are nearby and can join in, please
come.
(Corner Boston and Normandy Rds Mt Eden)

Anyway, if you have any suggestions of helping, we would be so
appreciated. A great big Thank You to GB for the use of his Fax
machine and to PB for all her help with help with legal documents!!!

Kind regards,

Jane Siemer

MORE INFO!

1) Prison staff – after granting me permission to visit Vince as legal
assistant/McKenzie friend (as happened last time), now want me to
reapply. (Was told that today).

Not sure what that’s all about – but will hopefully sort out tomorrow morning.

2) PROTEST TOMORROW OUTSIDE MT EDEN PRISON:

Corner of Boston and Normandy Rds Mt Eden
3.30 – 5.30pm

This is an ACTION focus to draw attention to the facts that:

*Vince has been locked up for 6 months – WITHOUT A JURY TRIAL
*Vince has been DENIED BAIL (wasn’t even NOTIFIED about the bail
application hearing – let alone given an opportunity to put his side).
*Vince has COMMITTED NO CRIME – yet the Solicitor-General tried to
have him jailed INDEFINITELY. (This same Solicitor- General is
currently under Police investigation for allegedly lying in an
affidavit.)
*Vince violated a ‘gagging order,’ for which Vince has provided
evidence to the Court to show that it was UNLAWFULLY OBTAINED –
stemming from Stiassny’s UNPROVEN ALLEGATION of defamation.
*Police have failed to investigate a complaint that alleges Stiassny
committed perjury.
* The Courts have not addressed Stiassny’s alleged fraud, which was
the basis of Stiassny’s defamation allegation.
*Apparently, on 8 October 2008, there was an ‘in-chambers’ defamation
hearing from which Vince was debarred from attending to defend
himself.

DOES THIS SHOW JUDICIAL CORRUPTION IN NZ?

How can Vince Siemer’s imprisonment be LAWFUL – if the Courts have
ignored the underpinning allegation of Stiassny’s fraud from which
this NZ ‘JUSTICE’ HORROR STORY began?

HOW CAN IT BE UNLAWFUL TO “TELL THE TRUTH”?

WHAT HAPPENED TO “INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY”?

HOW CAN JUSTICE BE DONE OR BE SEEN TO BE DONE – WHEN THERE IS NO COURT
RECORD OF WHAT WAS DONE?

HOW CAN JUSTICE BE DONE OR BE SEEN TO BE DONE – WHEN THERE ARE SECRET
HEARINGS FROM WHICH ONE SIDE IS DELIBERATELY EXCLUDED?

HOW CAN ‘BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY’ BE HEARD – WHEN ONE SIDE IS
EXCLUDED? HOW ON EARTH IS THAT JUSTICE??

HOW CAN NZ BE REGARDED AS THE ‘LEAST CORRUPT COUNTRY’ IN THE WORLD
(ALONG WITH DENMARK AND SWEDEN) – WHEN VINCE SIEMER IS IMPRISONED FOR
SIX MONTHS – FOR WHAT??????????

DOESN’T THIS PROVE WHY NZ NEEDS OUR OWN INDEPENDENT COMMISSION AGAINST
CORRUPTION – COVERING

WHOSE INTERESTS ARE BEING PROTECTED HERE?
THE PUBLIC?
OR ………….

3) WHERE DO THE POLITICIANS AND POLITICAL PARTIES STAND ON THE
IMPRISONMENT OF VINCE SEIMER?

Lockwood Smith is Vince Siemer’s constituent MP.
He knows the background!

WHAT IS HE DOING ABOUT IT?

Email him and ask him!

Feel the fear – and just DO IT!
(Good to do something everyday that scares you! 🙂

When the ‘Court of public opinion’ is on side – THINGS HAPPEN!

(As they did with Ike Finau in a very similar case)
