“My Name is Rachel Corrie” is playing in Auckland
Venue: The Basement
Friday, 17 September 2010 – Saturday, 25 September 2010
This play is based on the diaries and emails of Rachel Corrie, a young American woman who traveled to Palestine-Israel as a member of the international solidarity movement. She was killed in 2003 by an Israeli military bulldozer while protecting the home of a Palestinian family.
The play was edited by Alan Rickman and Katharine Viner and has had great reviews.
