I’ll keep this short and sweet and to the point. Logic will prevail.

There has been considerable speculation from the very start of the SARS-cov 2 outbreak, based on sound thinking and circumstantial evidence, that the source of virus was not the Wuhan wet-food market, but a nearby virology lab.
The Washington Times reported that Wuhan is the site of two Chinese biological labs according to Dany Shoham, a former Israeli military intelligence officer who has studied Chinese biowarfare.
The report which was published prior to the Beijing scientists claims, suggests the virus was either accidentally let out or deliberately. If true, it would explain how the coronavius evolved so fast to jump from animals to humans.
When the Washington Times asked Shoham whether the new coronavirus may have leaked, Mr. Shoham said:In principle, outward virus infiltration might take place either as leakage or as an indoor unnoticed infection of a person that normally went out of the concerned facility.
This could have been the case with the Wuhan Institute of Virology, but so far there isn’t evidence or indication for such incident.
What’s more, the lab was officially working with different strains of coronavirus, as well as other deadly illnesses like Ebola, beginning in 2018. This lab is just 20 miles away from the Huanan wet market where the first case of the coronavirus is believed to be transmitted.

The theory has gradually taken hold among both alternative and mainstream media sources and attracted much public discussion. This has resulted in a back lash from acedemia and “fact checkers”.
The well-documented response to the “lab origin” claim is that SARS-cov 2 shows no sign whatsoever of being a genetically engineered “bioweapon”.
The scientific documentation and research backing up this claim is impressive and seems incontrovertible.
Here’s an excerpt from a recent Nature article typical of the impressive-sounding debunk efforts:
Origin of SARS-CoV-2 is natural, not manufactured
Last week, Nature Medicine published a Correspondence, “The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2,” which Holmes co-authored, working with scientists from the department of immunology and microbiology at The Scripps Research Institute, the University of Edinburgh, Columbia University, and Tulane University.
The research, using comparative analysis of genomic data, both proved that SARS-CoV-2 evolved naturally, and disproved the idea that it is a manufactured biological agent.
“There is simply no evidence that SARS-CoV-2 came out of a lab,” SOURCE
Doctor Holmes clearly isn’t Sherlock.
It is a neat diversionary trick.
The question is NOT: “Was this virus genetically engineered in a lab”?
The question is: “Was this virus released from a lab, either accidentally or deliberately”?
The answer to the first question doesn’t answer the second. Just because a virus is proven to be of natural origin does not mean that it was not stored in, and released from, a lab.
