Don’t you just love “anti-misinformation” material that contradicts it’s own remit?
Earlier today I read a “COVID Mythbuster” poster that raised my ire for several good reasons, one among which was the now-familiar “5G towers do not cause COVID-19” lecture.
by Martin Harris 26/5/20
5G does not cause COVD-19? yes, we know. We figured that one out for ourselves.
This revelation was followed by the sage advice to “check your facts and use reputable sources” (whilst citing, the BBC and the WHO, ahem…). Again, yes we know, that’s how we figured out that 5G does not cause COVID-19. (and we used actual credible sources rather than a politically biased news outlet and a health organisation caught red-handed telling Coronaporkies).
Here onwards however, is where discerning and questioning minds part ways with the rest. The less discerning will leap to the illogical conclusion that because there is no direct 5G-COVID link, that must mean 5G is OK. But the reality is different. We thinkers recognise that there were health concerns with 5G long before the coronavirus pandemic. An issue far from settled and with 5G being deployed rapidly around the world, protest has been prominent and passionate (as evidenced by the vandalising of cell towers recently here in NZ, not an approach I personally condone). At the very least, there ought to be a moratorium until the science is settled.
Some nations have indeed rejected 5G altogether, not willing to have their citizens used as guinea pigs for the sake of technological advancement.
Then there’s the other nations. Those that leap in head-first and seemingly quite content to test millimeter-wavelength (5G) radiation on their people. China’s Wuhan district was one of those places. Considering that one of the claims about the effects of 5G exposure includes ‘flu-like symptoms, it’s hardly surprising that when news of the outbreak of a novel virus emerged from Wuhan, some minds made a connection.
And why not? It’s a logical line of inquiry: Is 5G causing the COVID-19 symptoms? But as the pandemic progressed, along with the inquiry, the correlations evaporated. SARS-CoV 2 spread to areas where no 5G network is present. This author was among the many who did the investigating and figured things out well before the mainstream media began crowing about it. (Check the handy resource below, a regularly updated 5G rollout map).

But wait. time for some logical thinking.
Just because 5G demonstrably does not cause COVID-19 does not mean the connection dissipates entirely. Could it be that 5G radiation weakens the immune system and make us more succeptible to infection? Could it make the symptoms worse? I think that’s a fair question.
In rejecting (with good cause) a direct link between COVID-19 and 5G are we being too hasty, throwing out the baby with the bathwater? The concerns that existed before SARS-CoV 2 (the primary cause of COVID-19) emerged, regarding 5G, are still there. It is still a contentious and controversial issue.
Someone is using the COVID-19 pandemic to dismiss our 5G health concerns. Hardly surprising, as we well know COVID is being used as a Trojan Horse for the passing and implementing of all manner of things we would not otherwise accept, without at least asking some tough questions, and likely resisting. There’s more to 5G than potential health concerns: There’s spying and surveillance at the heart of the matter (and likely the primary reason why the technology is being pushed through).
Bottom line: If you opposed or questioned 5G before the COVID-19 pandemic operation, there’s no reason to stop now, and regardless of whether or not there is a causality connection to COVID, there IS an agenda connection!
