The facts might surprise you. Or send shivers down your spine.

In the course of sifting out interesting articles and information for Uncensored readers, the author subscribes to a multitude of newsfeeds both alternative and mainstream.
One of those sources, Newsroom, has recently published a number of articles focusing on “Conspiracy theories”. One such article written by Dr Deane Galbraith, specifically targets Billy Te Kahika (leader of NZ Public Party).
Now, I know for a fact Mr. Te Kahika is more than capable of defending himself, as a forthcoming item in the Uncensored Magazine will demonstrate. What I’m specifically interested in with this blog, however, is a specific claim that Dr. Galbraith attributes to Te Kahika:
…his belief that the UN is a scheme to impose ‘a one-world religion’. To this end, Te Kahika introduces the conspiracy theory that the UN’s principles were devised by three female occultists (Helena Blavatsky, Annie Besant, and Alice A. Bailey), and that the UN endorses ‘satanism’.
How Billy TK is Using the Far Right | Newsroom
An absurd claim, right? Hoho, jolly funny. The UN is Satanic? The better informed reader might agree with me that the claim is not at all absurd, no matter how bizarre it may sound.
Enter The Lucis Trust. And yes, it was founded by Alice Bailey and Foster Bailey (a man with interesting political connections) and influenced by Theosophy Guru Helena Blavatsky. And yes, the “Lucis” does indeed refer to the fallen angel Lucifer specifically pinpointed in The Bible as being Satan. The Lucis Trust, however, claim otherwise:
The Baileys’ reasons for choosing the original name are not known to us, but we can only surmise that they, like the great teacher H.P. Blavatsky, for whom they had enormous respect, sought to elicit a deeper understanding of the sacrifice made by Lucifer. Alice and Foster Bailey were serious students and teachers of Theosophy, a spiritual tradition which views Lucifer as one of the solar Angels, those advanced Beings Who Theosophy says descended (thus “the fall”) from Venus to our planet eons ago to bring the principle of mind to what was then animal-man. In the theosophical perspective, the descent of these solar Angels was not a fall into sin or disgrace but rather an act of great sacrifice, as is suggested in the name “Lucifer” which means light-bearer.
The Esoteric Meaning of Lucifer • Lucis Trust
Furthermore, they state:
The ancient myth of Lucifer refers to the angel who brought light to the world, and it is assumed that the name was applied to the publishing company in honour of a journal, which had been edited for a number of years by theosophical founder, HP Blavatsky. It soon became clear to the Bailey’s that some Christian groups have traditionally mistakenly identified Lucifer with Satan…
History • Lucis Trust
“Mistakenly”? The Biblical scriptures are considerably older than the opinions of Theosophists, and this is what is written:
““How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star, son of Dawn! How you are cut down to the ground, you who laid the nations low!” (Isaiah 14:12)
“Day Star son of Dawn” is a specific reference to Venus. The Lucis Trust “views Lucifer as one of the solar Angels, those advanced Beings Who Theosophy says descended (thus “the fall”) from Venus to our planet eons ago” according to their website.
The King James (1611) text is more explicit:
“How you are fallen from heaven,
O Lucifer, son of the morning!
How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!”
According to 2: Corinthians, “Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”
I think this clearly and explicitly establishes that Satan is synonymous with the fallen angel Lucifer who is also identified with the planet Venus. There is no “mistake” as suggested by the Lucis Trust.
The Lucis Trust, One World Religion, and the New World Order.
Here it is in black and white from Alice Bailey herself:
Today, slowly, the concept of a world religion and the need for its emergence are widely desired and worked for. The fusion of faiths is now a field for discussion. Workers in the field of religion will formulate the universal platform of the new world religion…The churches in the West need also to realise that basically there is only one Church, but it is not necessarily only the orthodox Christian institution. God works in many ways, through many faiths and religious agencies; this is one reason for the elimination of non-essential doctrines. By the emphasising of the essential doctrines and in their union will the fullness of truth be revealed. This, the new world religion will do and its implementation will proceed apace, after the reappearance of the Christ.
CHAPTER SIX – THE NEW WORLD RELIGION – Online Books • Lucis Trust
Well, there’s your One World Religion. It is important to note that the “Christ” mentioned here is NOT Jesus of the Christian texts. This “Christ” is also known as The Maitreya and is said to be coming to implement his New World Religion sometime in the near future:
…the New Age equivalent of the Millennial Age will not be just a single millennium but will be the Aquarian bimillennium. During this era, said Bailey, Christ (Maitreya) will reign as the spiritual leader of Earth, the Messiah who will bring World Peace.[93]
In August 1946, Bailey prophesied that Christ would return in an airplane from “the place on Earth where He has been for many generations” and that after doing so, he would appear on worldwide television.[94]

He will arrive by plane and appear on TV? Is any of this stuff given any credence by such an august and sage body as the UN? Actually, yes, sadly.
The Lucis Trust and the UN
How does all this in any way relate to The United Nations?
Once again, let’s hear it straight from the horse’s mouth:
The Lucis Trust has Consultative Status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations (ECOSOC) and World Goodwill is recognized by the Department of Public Information at the United Nations as a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO). As such the Trust and World Goodwill are part of a community of many hundreds of NGOs that play an active role in the United Nations, particularly in spreading information about the UN and fostering support for UN programs. Since their inception Lucis Trust and World Goodwill have given their support through meditation, educational materials and seminars, by highlighting the importance of the UN’s goals and activities as they represent the voice of the peoples and nations of the world.
Support of the United Nations • Lucis Trust
It is clear also that the UN and The Lucis trust share the belief that the COVID 19 pandemic should be utilised to usher in “a different economy” and “global solidarity”. In plain English; a New World Order. Again, read it for yourself:
But creating a New World Order has been a UN goal right from its inception. Its in the name United Nations. Bringing all the nations together as one. That may be a noble idea in theory, but when an organisation that openly venerates Lucifer is directly involved, one should have reason for concern, surely?
Controversy has arisen around some of Bailey’s statements on nationalism, American isolationism, Soviet totalitarianism, Fascism, Zionism, Nazism, race relations, Africans, Jews, and the religions of Judaism and Christianity. Yonassan Gershom and others have claimed that her writings contain “racist” material.[5][6]
According to Robert S. Ellwood, her philosophy and publications are still applied by the groups and organizations she founded, such as the Arcane School, and the Full Moon Meditation Groups that follow her teachings.[7]

And here is ultimate proof of the inextricable connection between the aims of the UN and The Lucis Trust:
In conclusion, Dr, Galbraith (Social Sciences, University of Otago) can scoff all he likes: Billy Te Kahika is essentially correct on this matter.
