A New Zealand Law professor thinks that fascism, discrimination and interference with the Bill of Rights appear to be legally sound and justified.
NewstalkZB reports:
The Government’s new Traffic Light System appears to be watertight from a legal point of view.
Under the new system announced on Friday, people who are unvaccinated could miss out on going to restaurants, festivals and gyms.
It will kick in once DHBs meet vaccination targets.
Auckland University Law Professor Bill Hodge told Tim Dower the orders are justifiable interferences with the Bill of Rights Act.
“New Zealand has obligations under the World Health Organization, under various international conventions that say ‘you got a duty to keep people safe from endemics and pandemics.’”
Hodge says the Government is using a combination of carrot and stick to encourage vaccination…READ MORE
“Obligations under the World Health Organisation”? And yet:
Up to June, the World Health Organization counselled against the use of vaccination passports, saying they would “deepen inequities and promote differential freedom of movement.”

The same source says:
“Under the Bill of Rights Act, discrimination of the sort envisaged by the traffic light scheme can be justified as long as it is necessary, has a legitimate aim, is proportionate and has a base in law.“
So is it necessary? Is the aim legitimate? Is it proportionate? I’m sure many will think not. There is plenty of data available right here at Uncensored to suggest otherwise. I’m looking forward to some calculated pushback.
I’d be interested to know what professor Hodge’s comments are on the politician who has implemented this apartheid saying this:
“New Zealanders, I don’t believe – and I’ve seen time again – reject any idea that anyone should be discriminated against for who they are, their religion, their cultural or ethnic background…It’s just not okay. I would have thought we’d have wide support for that.”

I put ANYTHING said or written by an ignorant idiot that doesn’t know the difference between communism and ‘fascism’,(incidently a derogoratry term dreampt up by Ashkenazim propagandists in Britain during WWII),as a load of shite.
If someone is too lazy/stupid to pick up some books and read some history they have ZERO right to spew forth lies as an opinion.
I believe in Freedom of Speech Barry, so I believe you have EVERY right to express an opinion (because I’m neither fascist nor communist). Thanks for your opinion Barry, have a pleasant day 🙂
PS Fascism is derived from Latin and goes back to Rome.
“Fasces are bound bundles of sticks or rods into which an axe is inserted or to which an axe is tied. The symbol dates to ancient Rome, whose leaders used it as a symbol of authority and power. … The fasces became the most well-known symbol of fascist Italy, and thus of fascism itself.”
