A Right Royal cracker from Ben Vidgen. As always Ben connects all the dots!
And we’ll never be royals (royals)
It don’t run in our blood
That kind of luxe just ain’t for us
We crave a different kind of buzz
Let me be your ruler (ruler)
You can call me queen bee
And baby, I’ll rule (I’ll rule, I’ll rule, I’ll rule)
Let me live that fantasy — Lorde ‘Royal‘
So let’s recap Lorde whiz into NZ from wintery NY with a new album at least three songs seem to include lyrics dedicated to Labour ( Helen of Troy, Leadership for New Regime and some other overtly overcompensating woke shite). The link between Colbert Lorde Ardern (and even ex New York banker John Key) appears to be brand maker William Sargent’s, the PR guru whom Ardern worked under when working as a senior policy adviser and PR specialist for the Blair government in the 2000, Framestore. Framestore does music videos, cgi, VFX post production work and PR branding work for celebrity’s and politicians.
Framestore was also contracted to do VFX (CGI) for Mulan and They Are US for which the Ardern government had provided tax cuts (See JACINDA’s ‘SUPERFRAGILISTICNEPOTISTIC’ HOLLYWOOD ADVENTURE) They Are Us which would have boosted Ardern’s brand internationally (as Ardern has repeatedly being rumoured as being groomed for Helen Clark, her mentors, old job at the New York based UN) was cancelled after outrage from the Muslim community who saw it as opportunistic and self serving.
In March 2021 Sir William Sargent’s (also a BAFTA Awards committee member) London-headquartered CGI and visual effects studio will see revenues exceed $700m (€586m) after a merger last November with post-production and visual effects firm Company 3/ Method (C3M). The deal was backed by London private equity firm Aleph Capital, and New York-based Crestview Partners and make Sargent’s company Hollywood royalty. Although the merger saw two offices close, it has increased the company’s footprint in both India California and New Zealand and has the backing of Ardern’s government and has contract with the All Blacks and Air New Zealand (John Key & Chris Luxon) to help build their brands and promote their image.
Lorde is allegedly seen out drinking in a Grey Lynn 24 hours after touching down. That rumour is not confirmed and a Grey Lynn bar was a location a Lorde lookalike was previously seen at which got media attention a few years back (so possibly the social media rumour traces back to that event).
Update a opinion piece by social media reporter Vera Alves and Lorde fan (describes her self as “furiously feminist and anti-racist. Never knowingly under-caffeinated”.) for the Herald that set out to debunk the “trolls’ idea that Lorde whizzed through MIQ. The opinion piece fails miserably. Because other than confirming Lorde actually was seen in Grey Lynn & Takapuna and “other Lorde place Lorde-y places” by numerous people it fails to provided the dates Lord actually arrived in New Zealand and when she actually cleared MIQ. Regardless what can be confirmed for certain is that Lorde well sing at the Royal wedding of ex DJ turned PM turned Queen Bee Jacinda Ardern and Clark Gayford in January 2022 wedding.
The opinion piece then states she probably booked it all in advance. The piece again fails to provide any actual meat to support this opinion and we’re just expected to accept that the ducks all lined up for Lorde so she got approval from the MIQ lottery system. All just in time to be available for Ardern’s wedding to Gayforde. Good oh it nice know that Herald think opinion by a junior reporter with clear bias issues now hold the same credibility as actual data and investigating. But hey when you have an opinion and pink hair PR celebrity gimmick methodology who needs actual reporting or authentication of the facts. All the while another DJ (one of several it emerges), DJ Dimension, also got the VIP stay at home MIQ treatment (while the rest of other peasants endure the human equivalent of being locked in a sweaty dog kennel) can be confirmed 100% as having breached this perk established for the rich and slimey.
DJ Dimension had Omicron (you have to admit that sounds like a cool DJ name by itself) but no one knows how or who he picked it off from. Dimension having previously tested negative on at less two occasions and the New Zealand media has to date chosen to gloss over this point.
We now had several likely case of Omicron in the community but Hipkins stated he would not be reexamining things until after mid January e.g. post DJ Jaspinda, the NY soup kitchen volunteer, marriage to DJ Sticky fingers aka Gayford Clarke.
Reportedly post marriage it being suggested we will now be seeing a lot Gayford on screen and on air as media land has decided to make him a member of the media royal family. If true then his star is on the up. No doubt we can expect to see him on Charades alongside Queen Pink Hair (when she not breaching Covid social distancing rules herself) and ex MP Paul Bennett who has also rebranded herself with the help of branding experts. The royals are bipartisan in their nepotism if nothing else.
The consequence of this decision by Chris Hipkins (DJ Jaspinda travel buddy when she was in the UK working for Blair as a PR specialist under the tutelage of Sir William Sargent – founder of Framestore the go to shop for celebrity and politicians wanting a brand boost), to not take action until mid January, is as follows;
The Prime Minister’s fiancé Clarke Gayford has today apologised for “any confusion” he caused after speaking to a pharmacist about rapid antigen testing on behalf of a musician mate. The pharmacist alleges Gayford gave inaccurate advice about testing guidance on behalf of his unnamed friend who was trying to get a rapid antigen test, which requires no documentation, after being identified as a potential close contact to a person who had come in contact with Covid. The guidance had not changed and a PCR test was still recommended.
After being approached for comment, Gayford issued a statement through his manager saying “Mr Gayford was rung by a friend about Rapid Antigen Testing and was put on speakerphone while the unnamed musician was in a pharmacy. A spokesman for the Prime Minister had no comment on this event and referred to the original statement issued on behalf of Gayford, a private citizen (not a government official) by the PM’S office. DJ Dimension Omni covid status was made public on December 30th. On December 29, four days after DJ Dimension partied with DJ and entertainers Michael Taylor, a pharmacist in Bayfair, Tauranga, was asked by DJs who where potential Covid-19 close contacts whether they could get a Rapid Antigen Test which would not require them contacting authorities or leave a paper trail. .
The incident was in the wake of DJ Dimension testing positive for the Omicron variant in December. Taylor posted an account of the encounter on Facebook saying the PM husband Gayford appeared “very unimpressed,” when challenged on the advice. Taylor wrote “Just had a group of vaccinated musicians arrive having potentially been exposed want a RAT – explained to them that they needed to have a PCR test done”. As they didn’t like this they got Clarke Gayford on the phone who proceeded to state there had been a change in the guidance and the DJ’s should be given RAT tests. “[W]hen I explained that we had not received any direction from the MoH he was very unimpressed,” the post said.
The Ministry’s own website notes if someone is “a close or casual contact for Covid-19 rapid antigen screening should not be used, and the person should be directed immediately for a laboratory-based PCR test” In such cases results would then be forwarded and documented for the MOH.
MoH stated it wish to hear from any anyone who stayed at the Cleveland Motel outdoor pool in Rotorua on December 31 or visited The Barrio Brothers on Grey St in Tauranga on January 6 between 6pm and 9.30pm. Two new cases of Covid-19 in Wellington have been confirmed today, with a possible link to a drum and bass festival in Mount Maunganui on 3 January. The Ministry said anyone who was in Tauranga for the festival was advised to get tested “as soon as possible” and to isolate at home until they received a negative result.
Moh tracing details state the first Omicron case was active in the community spent four hours at a nightclub in central Auckland, as well as at another bar, jewellers, and two restaurants. where he partied with other musician and entertainers.
DJ Dimension – whose real name is Robert Etheridge – is a UK artist who was meant to headline at Rhythm and Alps confirmed he tested positive for the variant while in the country. The Ministry of Health confirmed an infected person was in Auckland CBD on December 26 and 27, and visited the Impala nightclub. The case arrived at Impala on Shortland St at 11pm on Boxing Day, December 26, and stayed until 3am the next morning. Etheridge arrived on a flight from the United Kingdom via Doha on December 16 and is fully vaccinated with a mRNA vaccine.
A Christchurch bar was a location of interest linked to the community outbreak of Covid-19. No.4 Bar and Restaurant in St Albans was added to the Ministry of Health’s list on Christmas Day. It comes after a community case of Covid-19 was announced in Christchurch on Christmas Eve. It not clear if the variant was omicron or it source but its believed the infected person may also have being a musician heading for Rhythm and Alps. The bar was visited by a person with the virus on December 20, between 4.30pm and 9.30pm, the ministry said.
NO4. Facebook page cites on January 3rd “SPOTLIGHT ON STAFF…Tom is a junior bartender at No.4 and has been with us for about a year. Tom will be moving to Wellington in February to study Music Production”
At least 9 drum and bass/electronic DJs who landed in New Zealand this month for summer festival after organisers secured MIQ spots for them were believed to be close contacts with those infected with Covid Omnicom variant.
Many of these such as DJ Friction (below), who cancelled their appearance at Rhythm and Alps but went ahead ahead and played at MT Maunganui on January 3rd have played at venues through out New Zealand many of which is are now locations of interest. Three people that the DJ stayed with on the island had returned negative test results for the virus so far. There were four positive cases in MIQ at the same time as Etheridge, three of those cases had been ruled out as being linked to his infection. Genome sequencing results have yet to be revealed for the fourth individual whose name and fate has not being followed up by New Zealand’s media. Six contacts who travelled Christchurch performed at the George FM Hidden Lakes festival. They tested negative via saliva testing before flying on chartered flight and also tested negative before the concert.
TV1 reported on January 8th Hybrid Minds, Friction and Koven “were all listed as acts at the Mount Maunganui Festival, and are performing at Plane Sailing being held at Auckland’s Victoria Park on Saturday night. DJ Friction was also pulled from the Rhythm & Alps New Year’s music festival, after being a close contact of another Covid case and needing to isolate”. Friction status was not announced at the time (simply he would not be appearing) and his performance itinerary seems at odd with the 14 days (ending January 14th) self isolation requirements.
DJ’S Drum and base Lee Mvtthews posted a video on December 29th stating they had contacts with the Omicron case and would be self-isolating for seven days instead of playing at Summer Haze on Wednesday night and at Rhythm & Alps. DJ’S Lee Mvtthews is set to play with Lorde on February 26, 2022 at Electric Avenue to be held in Christchurch. The exact arrival of Lorde in New Zealand is believed to be early December where it maintained (but not proven) she was seen out drinking in Grey Lynn. The exact arrival date of Lorde appears to be a closely guarded secret along with when exactly she applied for MIQ and when this was granted.
Got love those party reptiles sense of kindness and inclusivity.
