Take a good look at the image, and if you can explain this apparent lunar artificial object, please let us know!
I was alerted to this amazing photo by way of a video posted on Secureteam10 YT channel (see below). Never taking anything for granted, I looked up the source and took some screenshots. The source and the image itself are totally legit. The photo was taken by Apollo 17.
My initial thought is that, assuming the object within the crater is an actual artifact and not the result of some kind of image processing flaw (difficult to see how) then it may be that the crater is actually one of the famous lunar cavern entrances which are large enough to house entire cities. Did the camera capture the moment a huge vehicle passed the entrance on its way through the vast lava tunnels beneath the lunar surface? What’s your thoughts?
