The Pride Alliance of the Treasure Coast, a Florida-based LGBTQ+ organization, announced that after several discussions with Port St. Lucie officials, this weekend’s Pridefest would be limited to attendees aged 21 and older.

Martin comments: I have no issue with the “Rainbow” community doing whatever they want in a closed venue. They can express themselves however they wish. But it’s time to stop targeting and grooming minors. This recruitment drive needs to end. For pity’s sake let children grow up and make up their own minds who or what they want to be. Then when they’re old enough, they can choose to attend LGBQT+ events if they wish. Easy.
