The charity behind the video, the Welsh Refugee Council, is partly funded by the Welsh Government, according to its own website.
In the clip, girls wearing school uniforms who appear to be around 12 or 13-years-old extol the virtues of charity’s services to migrants.
“Hello and welcome to Wales,” states one of the girls.
“We understand being a refugee, they go through so much,” adds another.
“Fleeing your country is difficult, but Wales wants to help you feel welcome,” states the first girl.
The girls then describe how the Welsh Refugee Council can help illegal migrants gain access to benefits, housing, free education, NHS medical care and bank accounts for employment.
The girls also introduce potential migrants to common Welsh phrases.
Respondents on X blasted the charity behind the video, pointing to the numerous examples of “refugees,” who are almost entirely comprised of young men, being embroiled in rape and sexual assault cases.
“Please tell me they’re not using little white girls as literal bait for migrant men,” commented Eva Vlaardingerbroek.
In one particular case that caused fury amongst locals, migrants staying at a government-funded hotel in Wigan routinely filmed and sexually harassed schoolgirls as they walked home, while also recording PE lessons on their cellphones.
After the promo video attracted attention on X, the Welsh Refugee Council locked down its account.

Martin comments: One would like to think that some naive soul in the Welsh Refugee council simply thought the schoolgirls would present a good public face to other female migrants and never for one moment considered the repercussions or misuses. It’s the more excusable of the possibilities. However, such a person or persons would have to be so naive that they really aught not to be in a position to make such decisions as this. For sure a good proportion of migrants and refugees are good people seeking a better life, but there’s always the others among them, as well and truly evidenced.
