Mars: Scientists have found reservoirs of water at depths of 6 to 12 miles (10 to 20 km) in the Martian crust. These reservoirs could contain enough water to fill oceans across the planet.

In other words, everyone from science fiction writers (HG Wells, Ray Bradbury…) and early 20th century astronomers (Percival Lowell…) were essentially correct. Mars may appear desert-like and dead at fits glance, but not only are there signs everywhere of a former lush and vibrant planet, but it would seem all the ingredients are there, hidden underground, to revitalize the planet.
Now, many of these announcements of the we-told-you-so variety, whether it be fossil-containing Martian meteorites, or the latest bombshell about huge, ocean-sized reserves of water in underground aquifers, have an element of political motivation in their timings.
Elon Musk. Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Just seems like yesterday this author was speculating about a potential connection between Musk and Trump (it was 2017! see link below) with regards two angles: Blue Beam (Starlink and the Thousand Stars) and Musk’s obsession with getting to Mars. One imagines that Trump’s second term, with Trump the all-powerful and Musk his techno-high priest, Mars will be back on the menu.

“I think we need, probably, on the order of 1,000 ships.”
But is all as it seems? As with the moon, there are grounds for suspicion that NASA is telling porkies. One version says “we’ve been there but the truth about signs of ancient habitation are being covered up. Another version says it was done in a studio. It seems unlikely, as with the moon, that we are being told the whole truth about Mars. And in both cases, much of the action, whether ancient or current, seems to be hidden underground with naught but a few hints here and there on the surface.
I intend to expand on this topic in forthcoming articles, particularly reference to a very old hypothesis known as The Phaeton Hypothesis that involves the asteroid belt, but meanwhile, here’s a vid on the latest waterlogged revelation.
NASA Confirms Discovery Of Liquid Water Oceans
On Mars NASA has made a groundbreaking discovery on Mars: Oceans of liquid water exist beneath the planet’s surface! In this video, we dive into the latest research and findings that confirm the presence of vast liquid water bodies on Mars, revolutionizing our understanding of the Red Planet. What does this mean for future missions? Could Mars support life?
