Peter Drew, author of the recent very popular Christchurch Earthquake article, tackles the ethics of the Internet:

As the extreme censorship of the internet explodes in front of our eyes, an important question for us to ask is, has the creation of the internet been a good or a bad thing for humanity? Is it a positive or a negative influence on freedom of speech, the spreading of truth and awareness, and for holding power to account?
The internet has transformed the world. It has transformed our communications and our ability to share information. At the click of a button a ‘truth bomb’ can go viral around the world in seconds. The mass population has been able to learn and share vital information like never before in history. This has allowed false flags like 9/11 to be exposed and has created the most rapid and mass ‘truth awakening’ ever seen in ‘known’ history.
At the same time it has brought us ‘fake news’ at historically unprecedented levels. We have disinformation agents and internet shills who are bought and paid for by the powers that be. We have the NSA and CIA seeing and storing everything we write and say, and we have the powers that be able to increasingly censor and manipulate the flow of information. The censoring element of the internet is blowing open at an extreme level as we speak.
Internet censoring is driven through a combination of processes. There are programmed algorithms across the various social media platforms using ‘bots’ with artificial intelligence to control how certain types of information about certain subjects can be shared or blocked. There is ‘shadow banning’ which censors the ‘author’ without them even realising it, and then there is just the brazen shut down and cancelling of someone’s account who is deemed to be ‘off message’ for the powers that be. This level of censorship has absolutely exploded in recent weeks to the point where there is no trying to hide the censoring agenda anymore. It is just a brazen shutdown, for no justifiable reason, of many of the largest independent media outlets around the world such as Richie Allen, Natural News – Health Ranger, and David Icke. The only rationale from those doing the censoring is that in order to shut down the spread of ‘fascist information’, we will implement even more fascist measures. Perhaps they should take note of Voltaire’s words of wisdom…..“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it”.
