Aloha from Tasmania, where two heads are better than one, an island the size of Ireland down under from the land down under, an ark of Gondwanaland-remnant florae and faunae, home of the tallest hardwood trees in the world and a diverse community of great folks…and my favourite part of Australia.
Tasmania is almost as different from the mainland of Aus as Hawai’i is from the mainland of the USA. And it is home of the newly discovered but yet to be seen creature, the Tasyetacine, a cross between the thylacine, or Tasmanian tiger and the ‘yeti’, or abominable snowman of the Himalaya 🙂 I am going to be painting one this week.
UCY.TV ON THE BRINK
I am sad to share that this episode of On the Brink radio is the last that will be broadcast on the ucy.tv network. Founder/producer Jules Stanley informed me two days ago that she is shutting down the network due to personal issues relating to health and offspring, and she has no plan to reactivate it in the future.
But I am not retreating from the brink…au contraire, my show will go on; I will continue to produce a weekly broadcast bringing you the leading edge of relevant information from a variety of areas, as I have done since December 2012. The only thing that will change is, of course, no one will get to listen to my show via the ucy.tv link when the show would have been ‘live’, which has actually never been the case as I pre-record all my shows due to the time difference between New York and where I am likely to be, i.e., Australia or New Zealand.
Anyone interested can still listen and/or down-load each week’s show from the soundcloud link in my email, as well as all of the other 250 previous shows. My weekly emails will stay the same more or less, but may not always go out a couple hours before the ‘live’ broadcast.
I would like to send a huge expression of gratitude for a job well done and FAR beyond the call of duty to Jules Stanley, a very amazing woman who conceived, created, produced and operated an entire investigative journalism network for seven years or more, all totally pro bono as a labour of love.

WELCOME TO ‘LITTLE TASSIE’
I could do an entire show or two or three on Tasmania as a place of historical and socio-political significance, cultural diversity, community-mindedness and most importantly to me, amazingly unique, powerful and diverse landscapes, spectacular as well as subtle, and home to a plethora of awesome florae and faunae, not to mention all the amazing things that have happened to me here regularly since my first visit in 2001.

Of all my fantastic adventures in Tasmania, the creme de la creme were the months spent on Flinders Island, which is half-way between mainland Tassie and Melbourne. It is shown in the upper right corner of the geologic map above. I have been there four times, once for a week or two in 2006; for about 9 weeks in 2008-09 with my partner at the time Liesbet Verstraeten, again for about 4.5 months in 2011 with Liesbet, and my last visit was for several weeks in the (austral) winter of 2014.
Flinders has some of the most spectacular landscapes I have seen anywhere in Australia.

HAWAI’IAN VOLCANOS UPDATE
Tutu Pele is not letting up with her show. Even though this is a mere trickle compared to a really serious eruptive episode, I think that over 3000 acres of land have been covered by lava so far; the most active flow fronts are progressing at over a mile per day and may reach the ocean again in a few days’ time. Some of Pele’s tentacles are actually moving in the direction of where I was staying at Hawai’ian Beaches.

“The humongous amount of lava emanating from Fissure 8 in Leilani continues to flow in a gigantic channel toward Kapoho. An enormous perched pond sits at the bottom of the subdivision, feeding the Kapoho flow… and occasionally breaching the walls of the holding area, quickly sending lava to the areas nearby. The flow front moved about a mile and a half overnight… and this morning was located between Green Mountain and the cinder pit to the north… she has now flowed directly over where Kapoho Town once stood…. and as of this writing, lava is just a half mile from Four Corners. Most likely, she will reach Four Corners at some point overnight. It now appears she may stay to the right of the kipuka, and may threaten Kapoho Beach Lots and Vacationland. The small flow far above Pohoiki and the Hot Pond is still active, but moving very slowly. We were able to see Pohoiki Road and the lower Malama St area in Leilani. Very, very little remains of Lani Puna Gardens, and the upper portion of Pohoiki Road is almost completely covered. Interestingly, we could clearly see the homes at the bottom of lower Malama in LE. The great majority on and around lower Malama are still standing… nearly all the vegetation burned or killed by the heavy gases that generally blow in that direction… but Pele has left most of the homes untouched. Also, a report has surfaced that lava has again returned to the Puna Geothermal Ventures plant… black smoke was rising from the facility. As always, Bruce and I will be updating our reports again tomorrow morning. Leilani Strong! Pray for Puna!!!”

This article makes some interesting points but when the author states with certainty that, for example, the CIA has its own secret fleet of nuclear submarines, and that they launched a nuclear missile in January which was shot down by the ‘secret space program’ (the well-publicized ‘incoming missile’ alert broadcast by Hawai’ian Civil Defense), AND that…for sure, no questions asked…the evil ‘them’ running the show (Rothschilds, international banking cartel, New World Order) first put the Puna Geothermal Venture there in 1993 deliberately just so that they could use it to cause the current eruptive episode whose true purpose is to destabilize what geologists call the Hilina Slump so that a huge chunk of the Big Island will fall off into the ocean creating a tidal wave that would take out not only Honolulu but also much of the west coast of the USA.
I think there may be bits of truth in this article but exactly what and where it is and how much there is is anybody’s guess. Surely the mentalities do exist who would think up this kind of thing, as well as the mentalities who control the technologies and decision-making echelons who could make it happen.
This trickular eruptive episode of Tutu Pele’s birth-giving is on the surface absolutely no different from any of the previous ones over the last 100 years except in specifics of exact locations, etc. To claim with absolute certainty that the afore-mentioned items are fair dinkum is at the very least an indication of grade-school journalism
Having said that, however, remember that the primary tenet of geo-physical warfare is that the fake ‘natural disasters’ foisted by these technologies are for the most part indistinguishable from real ‘natural disasters’ done by Mother Earth herself.
What is happening on the Big Island? I know this much: all that lava is really coming out…I saw it, I heard it, I smelled it. Go and check it out for yourself. I’m sure that plane tickets to the Big Island are really cheap now if not free 🙂
