Has Trump Changed His Tune? Fact vs. The Narrative

You’ve all no doubt heard President Trump’s message. And no doubt heard the many who claim he’s “just reading a script” or has “changed his tune”. But has he?

Below is a portion of Trump’s Thanksgiving “conference”. What actually happened here was that Trump gave his Thanksgiving talk, but after being hackled by the Press for responses on the Election Fraud topic, Trump took time to create an impromptu Q&A session, obviously teleprompter-free and unscripted. He states quite clearly that if his battle to have the election overturned fails, he will leave office. “You know I will”.

In the full session, (now hard to find online) Trump makes it clear that he is repeating things he’s told the reporters before, “but you won’t report it” he says. All MSM sources cut this part from their coverage, naturally.

Why wouldn’t the MSM report Trump’s repeatedly stated commitment to leave the White House gracefully in defeat?

Because it doesn’t fit “The Narrative”.

This “Narrative” dictates that Trump will refuse to leave, will deliberately incite rioting and do whatever it takes to disrupt the transition process.

And when Trump finally does exactly what he told them he would, well, he’s a fake and he’s just reading a script and trying to save his ass and has turned his back on his loyal fans. Oh what a horrible man!

Mark Zuckerberg (here criticised by Snowden) telegraphs The Narrative in his statement regarding the Trump’s Facebook ban on January 6.

And yet, here we have Trump’s words:

I ask you: Do these words sound consistent with Zuckerburg’s statements?

And so to the rioters themselves. Were they following the wishes of Donald Trump, do you think? Where those people even representative of the many thousands of supporters and protestors in Washington that day? I think not.

Many genuine supporters at the rally attempted to bring attention to potential signs of trouble brewing. As reported here on Jan 6 US time, the dreaded pallets-of-bricks-on-the-street-corner where present. Usually a signature of impending violent Antifa activism.

To make matters more confusing, Right Wing activists The Proud Boys gave advance notice that they would appear disguised as Antifa members. Not helpful in this author’s opinion.

So, regardless of whether the minority of protestors who engaged in rioting and violent behaviour were on The Left or The Right, or even a combination thereof, they were CLEARLY NOT following the intent or direction of President Trump, nor representative of the majority who turned up their multitudes to PROTEST PEACEFULLY.

There is a false narrative being propagated by Mainstream Media, and it is based on a willful misrepresentation of Trump’s attitude and intentions. Even worse, it appears highly possible that much of the rioting on January 6 may have been staged in order to give credence to this false narrative, and Facebook aided the deception by silencing Trump’s voice while simultaneously broadcasting a message from Zuckerberg (in direct contradiction to Trump’s Twitter statements) claiming Trumps intent to “undermine peaceful transition”.
