I received this message from Katherine at stopsmartmeters.org.nz. Please help her out with the battle against 5G. Please note that as happens all too often, time is against us! Martin
I hope this email finds you all well.
You are receiving this message because you made a submission on the consultation on 5G and emailed me (Katherine Smith) via www.stopsmartmeters.org.nz to let me know.
The purposes of this email are the following:
1) To let you know about a NZ government consultation on child and youth wellbeing in case you would like to make a submission to this consultation with reference to 5G (or any other health and wellbeing issue that concerns you).
2) To invite you to sign an petition against 5G and share the relevant link with family, friends and colleagues.
3) To let you know about the new website www.5G.org.nz and the new Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/5GFreeNewZealand/
4) To invite you to email me if you would like to assist with on the NZ campaign against 5G.
Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy Consultation
I think that this consultation provides an opportunity to inform Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern and the Minister for Children, Tracey Martin about the risks to children posed by the increasing use of wireless technology and to express your opposition to the introduction of 5G to NZ, given that this would increase the amount of wireless radiation to which children are exposed.
Submissions are due by December. (I apologise for the delay in informing you; I found out about this consultation only very recently myself.)
Due to my time constraints, I plan to base my own submission to the consultation on the Child Youth Wellbeing Strategy on the submissions that I wrote on the 5G issue. (The health related 5G submissions may be read online at the following link https://www.rsm.govt.nz/projects-auctions/current-projects/preparing-for-5g-in-new-zealand/folder-potential-health-effects-of-5g-technology/submissions-relating-to-health-concerns.pdf )
You may wish to base your own submission to the consultation on the Child Youth Wellbeing Strategy on your own 5G submission and/or use additional information such as from the www.5G.org.nz website.
The website link to find out about the Child Youth Wellbeing Strategy is below:
If you decide to make a submission as an individual on the Child and Youth Wellbeing Strategy and your submission includes a discussion of 5G or other wireless radiation issues in relation to the health of children and young people, please let me know and, if you would like, please send me a copy of your submission.
Please sign an international appeal against the 5G on earth and from space
If you could please support the international appeal against 5G from space as well as on earth, the organisers would appreciate your support. The link for more information is below:
If you support the aim of the appeal organisers, please ask family, friends and colleagues if they will also sign it. Thank you.
New website and Facebook page for the NZ 5G campaign
Please visit the site and share the links with family, friends and colleagues. The site is being updated with new information as this becomes available.
A good introductory link to share is this one: http://www.5g.org.nz/2018/10/11/facts-about-5g-in-nz/
Please contact me if you would like to help on the 5G campaign
The mainstream media in NZ is hyping the faster wireless download speeds promised by 5G but not covering most other issues – with the exception of the controversy regarding Huawei’s potential involvement in 5G system for NZ.
If people are going to learn about the health issues related to 5G they will probably learn about these thanks to their friends and family and/or from people like you who care about their communities taking a role, however small, in helping bring awareness about the health risks posed by 5G.
The 5G campaign needs support from as many caring people as possible. If you would like to help further with the campaign, in any way, please email me and indicate your interest. Thank you.
Thank you for reading this newsletter. Your support on this issue is very much appreciated.
All good wishes,
